He sounds adorable and naive but what he's talking about is something that can affect the fate of the whole world.

Some additional information as to Rimur's connection to the people of Tempest (and another reason BESIDES being close to Shion as to why he rages far more at her death than anyone elses.) It, of course, makes sense that Rimuru would rage far more for Shions death than for those that he wasn't close to, but there is actually another detail that might explain why this hits him extra extra hard, and that is naming monsters. Rimuru named every monster in his nation. Naming a monster connects his soul to the monster he named. BUT for Rimuru there are actually two classes of named monsters. The first group of Goblins as well as the Kijin, Lizardmen and Geld, were named using the Magicules inside Rimuru. Thats why they got depleted and he went into sleep mode. The problem was, that Rimuru didn't have the magicules to name THOUSANDS of people. So Great Sage came up with a technique to mix some of his own magicules together with outside magicules to name the monseter. The soul connection between Rimuru and monster that he named with only his own magicules is FAR stronger than the connection between him and the others. Thats probably another reason why the deaths of those close to him hit him EXTRA hard, because he named basically all of them with his own magicules. Its nothing particularly important, but I feel like small details like this give the story some extra depth so I wanted to share.

It's mean that the aura released a moment ago is so intense that it could put pressure on monster or even kill them. A normal human would die instantly. Even youm would have died or atleast get magicules poisoning. It basically work like radiation.

In the original version, Rimuru was beside Shion for 3 days straight. Mjollmire went out of the barrier and contacted Blumund to tell them about the attack, Eren heard it and immediately took a carriage to Tempest, it took them 3 days to reach Tempest, and that's when Rimuru was about to absorb them inside him. This scene made less sense in the anime since it only showed Rimuru there for one night, and Eren somehow made it to Tempest from Blumund. Also, the scene where Rimuru was told about Shion happened during the afternoon, not night. So there are still a lot of the residents of tempest in the area weeping for their dead. That's why when Rimuru let out that Aura, Great Sage warned him as it is affecting the other monsters around him. Also note that the Barrier only affects monsters, so the Humans can freely leave the area, but a lot of them, mostly the merchants and adventurers stayed to help out with the distribution of food, reconstruction and healing. There's also an additional info that the goblin guards fought back when it came down to it, but before Rimuru arrived, they disposed off the human bodies ordered by Rigur (the son) who is also the captain of the Tempest Security force so that Rimuru won't be saddened to see that it's the humans that attacked them. Their plan was to tell rimuru it was just wild beasts, but they cannot lie to him in the end.

One milim and another the ramirs because she stopped millim's rampage by absorbing all her energy( enough to destroyed whole world). There are a few things I want to breing up since the anime skips them or fudges them a bit Rimuru sentd the Merchant and other humans that want to leave via a portal basically its magic that allows movement of small groups between the castes location and a place he visited ... its cant facilitate large scale movement like armies but can work for say a party if its not jammed ... He does this be believes Farmus to be waiting on the road to Blumund to kill anyone fleeing, in an effort to silence any witnesses allowing them to spin any narative they want after the fact. Rimuru spent around 3 days at Shions body questioning himself and searching for a way to bring them back. this is a small detail which could be konveyed with a 3d ays later text on the screen but it allows the events that happen to actually be natural ... the Highway Rimuru constructed cut the traveling time down to a few days from more than a week between the 2 so rushing you could get to Tempest in about a day or so ... with horses Tempest wolfs would be much quicker but Eren does not have access to those. With the merchants teleported even if they were on a job the 3 days allow for the time for the 3 to hear about the attack get a carriage and rush to tempest ... and get there in time to talk to Rimuru While also empathizing how big of a shock and hit it was for Rimmuru .... This is more of a bonus info in the Novel when Rimuru casts the 3rd barrier this causes some reaction among the citizens since it comes out of nowhere and causes Benimaru and Rigurd to rush to the plaza to see what is happening.. If you notice when we are told about Milims rampage you see a Redheaded well man and a adult Fairy woman that woman is Ramiris as her Original Spirit Queen before she became a reincarnating Fairy ...

As someone who preferred Shuna to Shion (I just can't stand those kind of characters - Shion talks too much, interrupts during political meetings, accepts requests on Rimuru's behalf without his consent yet Rimuru and Benimaru are scared despite the fact that they could end her at anytime). At least she got to go out fighting. Gobzo on the other hand : - Got me too-ed by Kirara - Was humiliated in public and was forced to apologize despite being innocent. - Used his body as a shield for Shuna and got "ended" for his troubles. Then Gobta crying just hurt to hear.

Neel must be thankful that Shion's death got a chance for reversal in the same episode. If it was from the novel, you must endured an entire chapter that ends with Shion and the rest as DEAD. I prefer the version of web novel for the Birth of a Demon Lord arc since its emotions are raw and pure as it should be. When it was revealed that Shion was actually dead, I bet everyone who read/watch it had the same reaction as you, we want to annihilate that entire kingdom. Though on my part, I snapped on the King's reason for invading Tempest. Monopolizing the trade routes or following the doctrine of the church about the monsters were just cover up for his own goal. When he first laid his eyes on the silk clothes that Tempest made (Shuna to be exact), he wanted to take it all for himself (not thru trade, but by taking the production and preventing others from copying it so destroying Tempest will complete his goal. I believe this was briefly grazed here in the anime but will never be elaborated. The other one is with Myurran, Rimuru never met her until he learned the fairy tale about revival of the dead from Ellen so he was very cold towards her and even with Youmu. When he killed her, he stabbed her without saying any words while Youmu was trying to plead forgiveness for Myurran's sake. Ofcourse he still replaced her heart but his words after that reveals his true emotions during the entire arc. "It was fortunate, there is a possibility that Shion and others can be revived. If I haven't heard about the stories, YOU would be DEAD by now." "This is your last chance, so use it well." And the main reason why she kept her alive was to make Youmu indebted to him that he would never let him failed Rimuru's expectations of him. Lastly, the fairy tale of The Girl and The Dragon in the Novel has no illustrations that is why unlike in the anime, you won't picture it out that the girl in the story has pink hair and twin tails but at the same time Millim would be the first person that comes up to your mind when you heard the story. Probably thanks to some conversations Millim and Rimuru had before when he asked why she became a Demon Lord. If you watched Tensura Nikki first, they also had a conversation that will help you picture out the fairy tale without being illustrated.
