Shipmans Buzzer Muddler Variant New HD Video 2020

A great wee fly I came up with Ages ago, Dave Shipman invented this pattern and it was deadly all I did was add a muddler head.
Using this got me into my First Sunday Post Competition in 1987 which is now the Champion of Champions, I took first place in my heat at the Lake of Mentieth at the tender age of 17
Hook: - Fulling Mill 1530 heavy Comp or B175 Kamasan or a Barbless Equivalent Size 14-10
Thread: - Black 8/0
Breathers: - TMC Aerowing White or Cheaper White Poly Prop Yarn
Rib: - UTC Opal Mirage Medium
Body: - Candyfloss Dubbing No5 Light Brown or Fiery Brown Seals Fur
Head: - Natural Roe Deer Hair Spun and Trimmed (Cloak or no Cloak)
Dont be scared to use other colours, Black, Red, Orange, Olive, Claret or even Hare's Ear they all work.
Good for pulling as a wet or fishing as a Dry.

The shipmans has always got a place in my fly box , I like the hares ear and the claret versions, definitely will be trying out your muddler version. Suspender Buzzer Hares Ear Hot Spot, Double Decker, Bibio Emerger, Claret Hopper and the 5th one is hard one to choose from probably my Gold Hares Ear CDC Pattern. I woudl say thats the top five I use
