Bro when your post is junior in engine department the salary is a bit more than the deck side junior officer but when you get promoted as a captain the salary is much higher than the engine side 😊😊

Yeah..!! Same principle work here as well.. Chief Engineer is slightly less paid than the Captain coz the captain is the 'heart' of the whole ship. He is too a representative of the owner and the company.. And the chief engineer simply carry out his job on the guidelines of the captain..
