I love playing this song. It’s not only beautiful but has so many variations throughout the drumming it’s very fun to play. I used to talk often with Hellhammer and he ended up sharing with me a lot about his kit, his Roland drum machine settings, and a lot about his playing style. It really helped me in developing my own drumming. Ended up basically replicating his kit but for left handed drumming. I love that you are keeping his legacy alive, in terms of drumming style, it’s very unique what he’s developed. He was very into Jazz styles.

I tried to buy his roland tdw20 but someone else beat me to the punch haha. Left handed? Nice. Its weird. Jan was showing me how he plays his paradiddle-diddles and he plays them left handed but couldn't right-handed..and he IS right hand dominant haha. @@marcusonthedrums I had a TDW20 with his settings on it, can’t remember he either sent them to me over email or ran me through dialling them in, was perfect, sounds so good especially when played live! Yeah, it is weird because I am right hand dominant but I learned to play left handed, so unfortunately for some things where I want my left to be the lead I had trouble with learning some techniques, but on my right hand no issues except most of the time it was the left where I needed it, I did try changing to a right handed setup but it just never felt comfortable after years learning on left handed. Some things are just weird 😂 I remember when it came to his blasts one of his hands is basically perfect and the other is kind of sloppy in comparison but compensates with mixing techniques, at least he did back then Took me so long to learn his foot technique I almost gave up 😂 but once I finally got it I was like holy crap Thanks for posting, I have been unable to play for so many years and your videos every-time I see them make me miss it

I wonder if the settings he sent you are somewhat similar to the setting I have cause I tried to get it as close as I could by ear haha. Send me the set up if you still have it, ya? Id ask him myself, but I lost touch with him when he left social media. Don't blame him, though, for all the stuff going on. The world's crazy Yea sometimes my push-pull on my left still isn't as fast as my right if I blast higher than 270 bpm so I switch to all fingers and I can't play all fingers as fast as I can push-pull on my right hand. Git back into it, son!! Git it!!
