What impresses me the most is her discipline. It was clear that she wouldn't much need her dancing skills in her 40s but she still maintened that physique which allowed her to do this presentation. Apart from that she was just working out and stretching on a regular basis in order to stay this fit. Just wow, what a will power.

In the subtitles for the "black choreographers" segment, the name Geoffrey Holden is displayed. That should be Geoffrey Holder, with an R at the end. Pretty sure Shirley said it correctly, just hard to hear. She had a right to be a bit winded. Fabulous dancing. For those who didn't know, MacLaine got her big Broadway break as a chorus dancer in Pajama Game, when she understudied Carol Haney. Haney was famous for never missing a show…until she did. Shirley went on, and a star was born. Sounds like a movie plot but absolutely true.
