Shirley Mc Lane was ahead of her time, everything she mentioned on this interview and on her movie "out of a limb" Today 2015, was repeated by gurus, metaphysic masters, celebrities, also quantum physic has it proved that spirituality as a was describe by Shirley ,it's accurate!!!

Harmonic Convergence? So this was in 1987? I just love Shirley's energy ever since I watched Out On A Limb. I've noticed at times, when she's on some talk shows, she seems uncomfortable. In fact, she sometimes comes off very rude. But I think that's because she's so wise (which is deeper than intelligence) that she finds a lot of this (and people) boring. But she conducted herself very well with Bill and the audience. Even though I chucked my television 6 years ago, I wish programs were more like this one instead of all the mind numbing crap now-a-days. Thanks for sharing this!

Shirley Maclaine is awesome, love her! I've always liked her and her movies, I hope she is doing great! I love the movie Out on a Limb, I saw it when it first came out, and it made since to me then, it was ahead of its time, now its when people can understand that movie better, I hope they show it again or maybe have available on Red Box. :)

She is a legend with her books and her life. Wiser than most in her writings. The books are about herself and real life . She changed some things but kept the life stories real, I liked that snout her books. I read all of them whenever I saw them. I felt like she was a sister spirit. I first saw her in The trouble with Harry. I was nine. She was twelve years older I only had one sister but felt Shirley was like my other sister I never had. She also led me to read more books about peoples travels and women. Loved or just regular people she met and relationships. Even though some were changed characters but the real stuff, the meat of her story came through. I hope she is still writing and continues to write. I only have a few people that I read their books. Hers are one at the top I would recommend whether you believe her lifestyle or not and belief’s. She does not tell you what to believe only showing one way to search and look at yourself, as well. Good for her. She is on the right track. Thanks Shirley for being you. From Marva Huff. Bye. I am on Facebook. The cat in the window. Comments are fine. 🙋🕊💕.

She don't give shit to her daughter though, never has. She has perennially neglected, shunned, and abandoned her daughter, since she was a child, and still to this day. She's never even met her granddaughter to this day, all because they detract from her fucking career. Upon recently learning this, I am livid with this blowharded, self adulating, and selfish old thot, however talented and accomplished she may be. None of her thespian accomplishents can make up for such horrendous and spiritually criminal behavior.

Shirley was so beautiful many years ago. All you have to do is look at some of those movies she made back in the early 60's. She also has one of the most beautiful pair of eyes I have ever seen on a woman. And she has an immense sense of depth for a woman. And I mean that for a woman who has her beauty. It's hard to posses those qualities when you have those good looks and people are giving you all that attention - particularly men in her case. And she was an amazing actress and dancer as well. Shirley is one my favorite women of all time. About the only flaw, if one can say that about her - is her way-out there beliefs on reincarnation, aliens, and a bunch of other things. But, aside from that, I think the woman is a genius.

This interview took place in 1987. It's interesting that she's so spiritual but yet her feelings were hurt when her daughter wrote a book spelling out how both of her parents (Shirley and Steve Parker) were absent parents and she led a very lonely life. Interesting comment under the interview of Sachi about what a total bitch Shirley was at a spa and that all her books are ghost written.

If you listen to Shirley's psychic waffle and think it makes any kind of sense, you should probably take a moment to consider that this is a woman who for 28 years totally believed that her husband, Steve Parker (aka "Paul") was alternately a clone and a space-traveling secret agent for Earth. She funded Steve/Paul to the tune of $60,000 a month, while entrusting him - or at least the clone - with raising her only daughter, Sachi. Until Sachi finally rumbled her father and pointed out to Mom that Steve was just an amoral con man, who had been living a life of extreme luxury and debauchery on his $60,00 a month. Shirley saw the light and promptly divorced Steve. Yet somehow being duped by such an audacious scam for nearly three decades never caused Maclaine to stop and consider that any of her other beliefs - in channelling, UFOs, ETs, astral planes, etc - might be just as wacky and misguided. No, she went on preaching all those beliefs, as she does here, blithely ignoring how gullible she'd already been proved to be.

This interview with Shirley shows us her animated personality, she is trying to impress Bill, the attraction tension between the 2 of them is intense and obvious. As mush as she is flirting, stroking her hair and touching Bill frequently, she flips into a cool detached disinterest. Shirley is unable to be vulnerable, shirley is unable to talk about what pushes her buttons. She does share a little about the awareness that we are more than physical beings.She is a frightened soul. If you see her KZbin interview with Barbara Walters you hear/see her bitterness and resignation, she has isolated herself from having the experience of a loving relationship in her life. Her rudeness is her wound showing. Underneath her rudeness is painful vulnerability she has not been able to work through and grow through. I am sure shirley loved her daughter the best she could and I am sure her daughter is deeply wounded as she says she is with sadness that her mother was not able to give her the bonding experience that connects on a deeper level. That being said... I love Shirley Maclaine. I think her acting is phenomenal, her mind is brilliant and her heart is wounded. I feel great compassion for her. I struggle with being able to show my vulnerability at times. I got excited when I heard this younger Shirley talk about it's all a learning experience and that when you understand this you can choose to learn in ways that are not painful. You can attract learning experiences that are not painful. You don't have to learn through painful experiences. I believe this is a spiritual truth Shirley became aware of. And I see and hear in her later videos that she was not able to transform her wounded vulnerability. Very sad she so deserves to have it all. I just want to hug her when I see her in her later videos. Love you Shirley. 🙏💙💚💜💛❤

It's time to switch up the "system of barter". Money isn't available to the poor nor those with whom it's not a focal point in life. True value is offering to give back what's gleaned, perhaps there is something of value other than money for all us new up & comers, all elders who now have time to do this before they go....country people, mountain people who will never value with the money concept that's prevalent in commerce today

I agree with Rach Baker's post, she is narcissistic. At one point I might of bought into what she said about past lives but she has such wild idea's that she claims are true (her daughter real father is in space). The brain is an amazing and we can be deluded to believe a lot of things are true that aren't. IMO she should have worked harder to be a good person rather than channeling and past lives. I think she likes the attention.
@AB-bt9eb8 жыл бұрын
She shows no signs of narcissism. I was a psych major. She just has convictions in her belief system. I think unfortunately people read buzz words from articles online and reality tv and don't truly understand the word; narcissism. You can't tell if someone is truly narcissistic without really hearing about their life, relationships etc. I'm not saying this is you, but I find people with low self esteem tend to look up and see someone with self love and healthy self confidence and read it as narcissism.
@merricat30257 жыл бұрын
416mcp how she treated her daughter was disgusting. Imo that says alot about her. I agree with you she should spend your time and be a better person but I don't think she had any interest in that
