My kids have been SO EXCITED for this video!! We also have a dog named Maple and I think they initially were excited about that coincidence. Since discovering the doggie, they became fascinated by the idea of differently abled people and how you guys adapt to the disability. Their curiosity was very cute. Then it dawned on me that not once did they ask why two men were married… that they never batted an eye at that concept. It made my heart almost burst with joy that all they saw were how we were similar and not our differences (they live in a home with myself and my bf). Same sex couples are nothing they focus on… all they see is that maple has a loving family, just like ours… that mom has disabilities too and adapts in other ways, that you guys experience similar day-to-day experiences that we do. It’s lovely. Thank you for sharing your journey with the world and being a fun part of our daily lives 🤍

Retinitis pigmentosa runs in our family. My great grandpa was blind (no diagnosis way back then) and my aunt has it. Her vision has obviously gotten worse, over the years, but she will be 90 this year and still lives by herself and has a tiny bit of vision left. So glad I found your videos, you are both adorable! The things going wrong can make great stories! At my wedding, we had two fires caused by candles, some party crashers showed up and had to be removed and a drunk woman locked herself in the bathroom and wouldn’t come out. We didn’t know any of these things until days later! 😊

There is a solution to the christmas tree per Problem. I use hotglue to glue the hook onto the Ornament, then U Just have to use crafting wire . The rather fin one and use that to get the Ornament onto the tree. It is a lot if work. And might really suck with less Vision and I poke my fingers all the time BUT it works. Never lost an Ornament again
