Thank you for this delicious recipe! My fussy family all enjoyed it. I used 4 cups of all purpose flour and added more water to the mixture then required to get the right consistency of dough. I only had the ‘5 spice’ so I also added in a pinch of chilli powder and cinnamon to the meat mixture. Turned out really well.

Angie Carolina pine nuts. They’re used in pesto. They’re super delicious but pretty expensive. Best variety is Spanish in my experience.

You can fill it with parsely and coriander and ground cashew or walnut. To make it vegitarian but the yogurt is still milk and needed to poach the dumplings
