You know, they say in life two things are guaranteed: death and taxes. I would like to make my proposal that we add a third: in any versus video, Hidan gets included in, he is going to get stomped on. This brings me to another point. I would like to propose a video of Hidan showing people he can definitively beat. I think it would be a good idea to show that there is actually a gigantic gap between Hidan and the vast majority of other ninja. You know, there was an actual reason he was recruited in to the Akatsuki.

Hidan is honestly probably low Jonin level without his hax. Asuma essentially defeated him and Hidan would have been totally done had Asuma understood his abilities and/or had Kakuzu not been there to reattach his head. Asuma is probably mid Jonin level at best. Even Kurenai should be able to take out Hidan in mere moments via genjutsu.

Shisui is a master in genjutsu in general, both in eye genjutsu and in seal genjutsu, and his genjutus, in addition to being able to be launched from a distance, is not limited to visual contact. This is what made him one of the best Genjutsu users, besides of course having Kotoamatsukami, which traps you in a genjutsu from which you will never escape for the simple fact that you will never know you are in a genjutsu. He really was that threat he was known for

I think against Sasori, Shisui can speed blitz but he’d probably not know that Sasori is immune to genjutsu even if he can see the core, and in character he tries to genjutsu his opps off rip and so he’d be open to being poisoned. That’s 55/50 to me, 55 going to Shisui. Sasori’s senses and him not having a brain seems weird but it’s like King Crimson from JoJos, It Just Works. Deidara, Kakuzu, and Hidan all get blitzed. If Shisui is really relative to MS Anbu Itachi then he just stops at Itachi. He’d beat Kisame because Kisame’s genjutsu stat is ass. A Bee video sounds like a great idea, people either think he’s below the Raikage or above KCM1 Naruto in base alone.

Shisui is one of those characters that was originally made as support for Itachi, and was killed early for the story, but then everyone ended up loving him. Kishimoto should’ve retconned him surviving the waterfall drop

Zabuza could use the hidden mist jutsu to obscure his vision and then slice Hidan’s head off while using water clones to potentially tank hits. Don’t even get me started on Kimimaro. Hidan would get close to him and end up getting impaled by his bones. If you’re going to say that Hidan defeated Asuma, which he honestly didn’t because Asuma sliced his head off and had Kakuzu not been there to reattach it, it would have been over, then you can also say that high Chunin level Shikamaru defeated Hidan. I agree that Hidan could beat Jiribo and Sakon/Ukon, but he’s getting stomped by Tayuya’s genjutsu and Kidomaru’s ranged attacks and summons. Hidan would defeat Iruka for sure. Haku? Lmao. Kakazu is actually a very interesting mixup for Shisui. I am curious. Sharingan works by the user controlling the other's chakra but Kakazu has multiple sources of chakra (hearts). Would this just outright nullify Shisui's ability to control? Would Shisui even be able to utilize Sharingan against the masks (which I doubt)? Man would be a very cool episode to see.

I think Itachi and Obito understand Koto enough to not get caught by it, and they're stronger by enough to overwhelm him quickly. Pain is weird tho, he might honestly lose just cause Kotoamatsukami is literally called the strongest genjutsu in the databook, meaning it's >Gamarinsho which negged him. If it affects all of them that is. Other than those 3, no other Akatsuki member really has an answer to Koto other than maybe Sasori who I think he beats anyways.

Although Pains eyes are all linked it’s a weird scenario. I don’t see one path getting caught and the rest suffering from it. When ma and pa used their genjutsu only the paths present got caught. Although that was doujutsu it shows they don’t share certain things. Nagato wouldn’t be effected if any of the other paths got caught and the fact he’s constantly pumping chakra into them means he would be aware of any changes in them.

That was actually an anime only line, I will also add the sharingan on his arm don't really amp him or offer any substantial strength increase, as it's not as if Danzo got weaker each time an eye on his arm closes. So either way it makes actually no difference other than increasing Izanagi time, or the increase is so miniscule that it isn't noticeable as Karin makes no note of it, so regardless if he does or doesn't have them the Senju Arm is the main buff

Shisui is a bit of an anomaly. He's believed to be the strongest Uchiha in his time, but the actual power level of Fugaku is unknown, so it makes the argument a dubious one. There's also no confirmation that Danzo actually needed Root to defeat Shisui. We only know that he used them. But Danzo is smart. He wouldn't risk a long, bloody fight at all let alone before a potential coup if he had an easier method. All-in-all, I think Shisui might be around the level of Kakashi at the Gaara Rescue arc or Pain Invasion. I wouldn't go higher than that with any level of certainty.

It seems like you argued shisui was stronger than itachi, but that was because itachi was young and weaker. It's pointed out in the novel that itachi only really lost against shisui in their sparring matches was "when something weighed heavily on his mind", which wasnt very often. Shisui's death also triggered itachi's ms awakening which is a stat boost as well. Itachi then goes on to get stronger as he gets older before contracting the deadly disease. From this we could say itachi was easily the more talented one and became the stronger one. He was younger than shisui, and sparred with him at an even level in base.

Just because shisui could put up a fight doesn't mean he's itachi's superior. The fight against those special ninja happened when itachi was like 8 years old so again that doesn't mean shisui is that much stronger as we know itachi also gets stronger as he ages and shisui had also gotten the boost in base acquired along with unlocking the ms. You could pretty much guarantee once itachi got his ms he surpassed shisui.

Why are you using partial weapons to gauge? You mentioned Shisuis Susanoos lance weapon, which is exclusive to the game, which gives him the full evolution as well. His partial susanoo didn’t wield any weapon in the anime. It seems very arbitrary to limit him to his susanoo from the anime, but give him his drill from the game, and not the full Susanoo from the game as well.

I don't think that Shisui can beat Deidara. Deidara can't easily be snuck upon to assassinate the way Shisui usually can with body flicker because he always keep animal style explosives on his body to go after people that get too close. I think the most likely way Deidara wins is that he'll realize that Shisui can reposition anywhere on the field immediately so Deidara will saturate the place with explosive animals and mines until Shisui miss steps and gets caught in the blast radius of a bomb. Also, in character, Shisui isn't dumb enough to fight Deidara alone if he can help it. He'd simply run away and come back with more reinforcements. Deidara wouldn't fall to Genjutsu, and his superior taijutsu isn't a factor because Deidara's explosives wouldn't let him finish the job. Remember, Sasuke only fought Deidara because he had the curse mark and thought that he could use Genjutsu on Deidara. It was coincidental as well that his lightning nullified Deidara's explosives. Shisui doesn't have these things going for him.

I disagree with the arm point more so due to how Orochimaru thinks he’s burned that bridge, they also could still be interacting while having the arm transplanted far earlier which I’m of the opinion of. This is also consistent with the anime stuff with Yamato as well, but I also did say I was gonna do composite Shisui which does factor in Danzo having Izanagi in the anime so there is that as well. As far as training it’s fair although I think super unlikely due to the age thing but again agree to disagree. The main point I was making was that Shisui should be in that range with no objective placement being too possible.

5 kage summit Sasuke is 1 tier above Danzo. He fought him after the 4 kage (granted, he had his chakra/health replenished), and he was bullying him throughout the fight. Danzo only survived long enough because of izanagi. Danzo even tried to black mail Sasuke using Karin. When Danzo was dealt with, Sasuke had the strength to engage Kakashi and Naruto. My point is that, Shishui can't be at Sasuke's and Danzo's level, simply because they don't share a level! Shishui is probably at Danzo's level (he could be scaled below Danzo because Danzo didn't use the arm-sharingans or above him because he had a team established beforehand). I guess what I want to say is that 5 kage summit Sasuke scales above Shisui (even though koto amatsukami is a win condition for Shisui).
