oil temp is in the right temp at around 95C and water temp around 90...so yeah car was cold...and the bars indicating the temp turn green when the engine is warm enough and they are blue as long as the car is considered cold...so...

Flashing displays is due to the refresh rate of the screen or light source (same happens with LED brake lights) and the frame rate of the camera. Although you see it on video as a flickering display, your eyes will not see it like that.

i've got the 610-4 and the sound is worth every cent. Definitely fast, not the "fastest" on the street but being the top 1% is fine for me. Huracan presence and sound are unparalleled! Maclaren is clearly unbelievable but aesthetically its fairly toyish looking.

I think that the most apropriate Lambo you guys should have put against the 570S, is the RWD 580 PS model. Yeah it would have lost anyway but at least the specs in both car, would be a bit more equal. But actually, this video proves us that torque is as/more important than power.

They said that the 570 had Pirelli Corsas which are race tires, while the Huracan was on standard P zeros. Now if someone tries to make a point that tires are not important, remember that tires are thing which makes contact between the car and the road

Obvious result after knowing that 570s revved less and had more torgue. Max power (hp) matters for max speed - Torgue matters for getting to speed if it only can be delivered to the ground. Power cannot be measured straight from the car, it´s always calculated with a formula from the measured torgue (Nm) and the revolutions/min the tourgue was produced.

The Huracan V10 is actually an Audi developed engine...made in Hungary at an Audi plant. To bring the Huracan into a different perspective: The new Audi R8 V10 Plus is basically the same car. I do not like the 570S because it is turbo charged and has a substantial turbo lag. Yes, it may be faster than the Huracan straight line (from around 160 kph on...), the McLaren has an excellent traction control and maybe even a bit faster than the Huracan on the track but in real life, the same (average) sportscar driver won't be able to follow a Huracan in a 570S since the AWD in the Huracan really makes a difference, especially when it is colder outside and/or when there is a bit of moist on the roads. Overall, the 570S is a good sportscar and a very fast one but I wouldn't choose it for me. The only McLaren I like is the 675LT but this one is a little bit out of my price class. If I were to get a turbo charged sportscar, I would get the new Ferrari 488GTB. As a daily driver, I would choose the current 911 Turbo S. There are lots of cars to choose from but the 570S would definitely NOT be on my buy list. Personally, I drive the new R8 V10 Plus and I love this car.

Yes the engine is similar but not the same engine (i know both are 5200 cc v10) but that doesn't make huracan the same as gallardo bc they have similar engine!! Good one to try and call beforehand. My guess was the McLaren, reason being because torque is more important than power in acceleration, and rear wheel more important than front wheel torque for mid or rear engined cars. Assuming the engine torque is converted to wheel torque, the McLaren was going to be ahead on that front, despite the off-the-line advantage of the Huracan's 4 driven wheels. Esp if there's a weight advantage to the McLaren..However, it would be even more interesting if they both had similar tyres..Good match!
