If you need another pallette-cleanser from R-Type training, check out "Warning Forever" from hikware. Don't know about compatibility, but it got a patch in 2012, 7 years after the last one. Might be a fun surprise

I dread many games too so I have to curate what games I'm gonna play next. Thanks to your channel I jumped straight into The Wonderful 101 Remastered. The reason I needed someone elses feedback on that game was becuase no one I know has/had a Wii U, so nobody played it and TW101 was never a hit like Bayonetta or NieR Automata so it's not talked about much even though it deserves it. When the remastered came out I read that apparently "It was a bad version because it can not implement some stuff much better suited fot the Wii U" so I thought of holding on until I got a Wii U somehow. Now I know the remastered version is the best there is and recommend that game to everyone I think could enjoy it. Now the only game I want a Wii U for is Star Fox Zero and Splatoon.

Star Fox Zero is great. I hate the reputation it has from people didn’t even play it.

@@seanmcbay I played it, and it was the first game in my life that induced an urge in me to throw the controller at the wall - which is a really bad idea regarding it's the WIiU-pad.

The ''Remastered'' isn't the best version imo. There are still crashes you can encounter. Some things are not working properly. So many visual glitches. Frame pacing issues and forced 59 FPS. I love W101 but that port is just dogsh#t

@@emptyorchestra The 59 fps can be fixed with a patch (though I understand that you can only do this on PC, idk if the 59 fps is also on consoles) and I only encountered 2 mild visual glitches and it only bugged for me once; it was when the bomb kid appeared for the first time, I could not draw his weapon properly so I failed and the game got stuck there, repeating that scene so I had to hard close it and come back. I played it through like further than the half of it with that 59 fps issue and I did not think even once "oh this is ruining it for me". The port has little problems but the greatness of the game overweigh it's deffective details. It was an almost perfect experience.

Bullethell comes from shmups I believe

shmup is the more standard 'spaceship flies through level and shoots at enemies that pop up'. bullet hell i think is specifically a shmup where the entire screen is filled with bullets. hence the hell part. though, i think modern shmups generally incorporate bullet hell concepts for spice.

@@vj7248 ok so shmups is more like horizontal gameplay with less bullets and bullethell more vertical with more enemies and bullets.

Bullet hell is a sub genre of shmups that focus more on bullet density. They tend to have smaller hitboxes that makes it possible to squeeze through much smaller gaps. They tend to give you powerful shots that deemphasize killing enemies quickly in favor of focusing on dodging. They also tend to have slower bullet speeds than classic shmups (though not always). Despite the name they're not necessarily more difficult than classic shmups they just have a different set of fundamental skills to learn. Both classic and and bullet hells can be horizontal or vertical.

@@peterriley4551 exactly this. You might also see people call it Danmaku which is Japanese. Check out games like Mushihimesama or Ketsui.
