Great job with the review of the blu ray. Sounds like a good one. The things missing sound like things that could not be avoided at the time. But it at least seems like there is some decent features on the disc, and the excellent picture and sound quality is a plus too.

Agreed, Shocker is quite an underrated horror film, always enjoyed it. The only scene I never liked was the TV channel scene, I always thought it was too damn goofy.

Back in May, I was at a rock festival Jean Beauvoir was performing at. I didn't realize, he actually wrote the title song "Shocker." (He didn't sing on it, but he wrote the lyrics) He performed the song at the fest, I nearly shit my pants. It was so awesome to hear the Shocker song live!

Hey Matt, great review for another terrific Wes Craven film, it is underrated and once again rest in peace Wes Craven. That was some interesting facts you mentioned on the blue-ray version. This film is still good to watch, Mitch Pileggi was terrfific as Horace Pinker and definitely one of the best villains from any of Wes Craven's films. My favorite Wes Craven films would have to be the following: A nightmare on Elm Street, original Hills Have Eyes, Serpent and the Rainbow, Shocker, People Under The Stairs, Scream 1, 2, 3, Red Eye to a certain degree, and the Hills Have Eyes remake. I hope they don't ever remake this film because this film is still great to watch to this very day and is underrated and deserves more praise. Anyway great review and Take care Matt.

I bought this last year good collectors bluray. I just picked up the Scream factory People under the stairs and Cursed. Wouldnt mind a collectors edition of Red Eye as well.

I loved that part where the flowing stuff comes out of the TV into Horace and it's like "You got it babyyyy" with it's beautiful a$$ lips and voice LMFAOOOOOO

I always liked this movie a lot. but never liked peter. wish the lead role was different. other than that its a really good movie. jason goes to hell ripped the idea off of body changing.
