Very nice job with the review. To be honest, it's my personal favorite Wes Craven flick. A Lot of Fun, solid cast, great soundtrack.

14:17 I will always remember him in this film and in ''Three O'Clock High'' as the asshole school guard too. 30:04 Agreed with you 100% A very well review for a very underrated fun horror flick and I 2nd that statement it's one of Wes Craven's most underrated flicks that really to me I've never had any problems at all the soundtrack, effects, the cast or the screenplay are all spot on IMO!

Don't understand why people don't like this movie. It's a very fun and entertaining movie. I would take this movie over the garbage horror flicks they make today. I discovered it when I was a kid late night on HBO.

Great review! This is one of my all time favorites and one of my top fave Wes Craven films. I have to be honest, it's not my fave Craven movie but it's right after Nightmare On Elm Street and Deadly Friend. But i still love Shocker to death and i have no problems with it, it's fuckin awesome, 100% fun and insane movie with in my opinion one of the best soundtracks in any horror movie. It's right up there with soundtrack for The Hidden. As for critics and haters, fuck 'em. So what, it has some similarities with NOEL but it's not a fuckin rip off, i don't know what's with people and fans who always bitch about it. My one problem with the movie is the fact that Universal won't do shit for it and release uncut version. Once again, great review and i'm damn glad to see that there are fans of this underrated cult classic and the fact that somebody would do 50 minute review and defend the movie is also very nice to see.

Speaking of The Hidden..Shocker is more like The Hidden than NOES. And I like both movies. But I would probably pick Shocker over The Hidden if I had to choose between the two. Both movies are great in their own ways though. And I meant to mention that I but I just forgot to get around to it in this review.

First heard of this movie from the Megadeth song off the soundtrack. Was curious about the movie and got the dvd a few years ago, and I have to say I highly enjoyed this movie. I thought the plot was unique with some satire on television and also having a fun villain in Horace Pinker. Definitely one of the most underrated 80's horror movies. Can't understand why modern horror crap like paranormal activity gets higher ratings while this movie gets the shaft. Look forward to seeing more 80's horror reviews. Any chance you'll be reviewing any John Carpenter flicks? The Thing is one of my all time favorite movies.

Thanks for recommending this movie. I just watched it on HBO go and I have to say I like this movie more than Nightmare on Elm Street. Peter Berg gave a damn good performance in this, him and Micheal Murphy had some great lines of dialogue. Now I got to go out and find that soundtrack.

Man start your vids with 5 min of the movie with 15 seconds of intro. Need to see it for couple of min tosee if I like to finish reviews

I can't. I would get a copyright claim, lose monetization on this video, and probably get it blocked worldwide. Last time I used any clips from Shocker and posted them on this channel they were blocked worldwide by universal. So if I wanted anyone to see this video I had to refrain from using clips of any kind. Now if you want to see five minutes of the movie or a preview? Check out the movie trailer.
