Good on you. This is the most important video that you have posted. I especially admire your comments about Greta and the insanity of the wind and solar agenda and the celebrities that use them as virtue signaling props while never breaking a sweat or getting their hands dirty. I hope you keep this up. My Grandparents emigrated from Norway and it holds a special place in my heart.

We will be fighting the plastic fall out from covid 19 for years to come. This is by far the biggest thing that we need to sort out now. And it's sad how slowly we are moving on this problem.

I keep hoping someone will make a mold and melt down the floating plastic into interlocking blocks and make a growing plastic island to live on and dock to. A new Atlantis.

Haha, Brilliant idea. Shouldn't be impossible to do :)

We are all so obsessed with gdp and growth, and I dont think pokificians have the intellect to deal with the situation. We need a bill gates or bezos to tackle sulituation . But we all need to change our attitudes for ourselves and children. Pollution , biodiversity extinction , overpopulation all reall problems that are effecting us today regardless of the warming planet. So many ways to die 😄 but great work for actually doing something useful and not just talking about it or donating , goid day out too ! 👍🙂🍻

I think I would have took that net with me you could troll that behind your boat and got all the fish you could have eating in a passage in one day when I was younger I lived in Hawaii and we were always finding glass fishing net floats from Japan on the beaches
@SailMermaid4 жыл бұрын
Oh, I think those nets are to heavy for my boat :) this is real industrial scaled nets!

Yes, I have always found some sense of humour in serving juices in plastic cups with paper straws...

I'm a little disappointed in your disparaging comments about Greta. Perhaps now you realise that her intentions are honourable and have brought the whole case of plastics pollution (both land and sea) to a much wider audience, and has maybe even educated a few. If it can happen in Norway, it is much worse elsewhere. Please reconsider your attitude.

Did you forget to mention that plastic is made from petroleum aka oil?
@SailMermaid4 жыл бұрын
That is true. Petrolium is in many products.

Use the plastic to make plastic solar panels.

This was an eye opening video but it also shows that most individuals are not throwing their waste on the ground anymore. Most of what you show came more from industry. With on the ground organizations that can definitely be minimized. We just have to find a good way to reuse what is found. Great vlog!
