Prices aren't slashed enough. These leftover vehicles will be heading to the auction before the dealer drop the prices to where the Average Joe can afford them.

Those aren't discounts, they're dark humor. You gotta be kidding to fall for this nonsense.

So many Jeeps on this list and they still seem way overpriced after the discounts.

Price reductions are 1/2 the picture , % rates are the other half , legalized theft as far as I'm concerned 😮

Have you also considered the rise in car insurance? Financing means you must carry full coverage.
@wescam295810 сағат бұрын
NOW IS NOT THE BEST TIME TO BUY A NEW CAR. Prices are at an all time high. A 7.7% discount off MSRP only discounts the sales tax in most locations. You still pay the MSRP. And, with insurance rates climbing you have to carry full insurance on financed automobiles. With Ford leading the race for the most recalls, followed closely by Stellantis and Toyota you may not be able to even drive your new car very often. You will more likely become friends with your local car rental company. Let the manufacturers eat the stuff for screwing us so much during the pandemic. They deserve it.

$48K? Add taxes, doc fees, add on's plus full insurance coverage for the life of financing it works out to be far more than $48K.

ESPECIALLY one that is laced with Tons of issue. there is soooo many buyer beware videos on the wagoneer. its nice on the inside , i give it that but not if you have to dump thousands into it bc of major issues that the dealer denies and refuses to fix.

Gas in the tank starts to break down, it attacks the fuel pump and the metal and rubber hoses through the fuel line. You'd think the dealers would care about lot rot. Some people that are going to buy these are going to have issues where the fuel tank may need to be dropped if the gas is really old. Best thing they can do with these cars is drive them at least once a week to keep the fuel fresh and battery charged. Also says nothing about how rodents love cars that are parked for long periods to keep warm inside the fan blower box, they make a nest on top of the cabin filter.
@wescam295810 сағат бұрын
Yes, but they will still sell you the car at the new car price if you are looking to buy a new car. The used cars are sold on a different lot. Just ask the salesman for assistance. Dealers don't want to take advantage of you.

Last night I left my local Aldi, I had to pick up some last minute groceries like eggs, they're only $2.15 a dozen right now FYI, cheaper than BJ's. As I'm loading the car I hear an engine racing towards me on route 27, like it's in too low of a gear for the speed it's traveling. I look up and I can't tell if it was a Jeep Cherokee or a Wagoneer but I know it was one of those by the head and tail lights. Don't know if the driver had it in "sport" mode but didn't sound good for a car that's almost brand new. But hey I can't laugh, I got into my [wife's] 2023 Kia Soul and drove away. 😆

The Jeep driver probably thought it was supposed to be driven that way.

2023 cars should be 30-40% off , the depreciation alone is at least 25%

You are not supposed to be smart enough to figure this out. Manufacturers are selling only to a select customer. You are not one of them.

A $ 60,000 truck on average has around 15% mark up from invoice plus 3 to 4 % hold back . So as a buyer hit the dealer in the balls at around 23 % off to start

That dealer will either call the police and press charges or show you the door.

some automakers retain resale value well take a 2005 Toyota Camry with less than 40k miles on it is worth between 4,200 and 5,700 at the moment granted a Camry is 16 Ft long and between 3,200-3,600 LBs while for ex a 1965 Buick Skylark GS is 16.92 Ft long and had 325 HP and 425 Ft LB torque and could do a quarter mile in 13.4 secs
