One of the benefits of this oil additive is improved engine protection during cold starts. This additive is designed to adhere to metal surfaces, forming a protective layer that remains even after the engine is shut down and the oil drains back into the oil pan. Upon restarting the engine, this layer helps reduce wear during the initial period before oil pressure builds and full lubrication is established. This is particularly important because, during cold starts, there can be a brief period of metal-on-metal contact due to the temporary absence of oil flow.

if you have a relatively new, well maintained vehicle and have done regular oil changes, you wont notice much if any difference. My 23 year old car definitely ran smoother and quieter after using it. Will definitely use it again

You need to give it time to work through out the engine.

Since the video was released, until now there is no difference, still the same mpg. Thanks for watching!!!👍

it does work 100% i use it in my motorcycle (motorcycle product, different because of the wet clutch aditives), you can feel it right away, engine is more elastic and builds up power much easier. Also it stopped consuming oil. BUT it is required for a worn out engine (as i have) it's not necesary and not ok to use it on good engines that have no problems.

I'm glad that it worked for you, But me, I'm disappointed, I didn't expect the result would be like this, I trust their brand and now I'm not sure. Thanks for watching!!!👍

I use a lot of Liqui Moly products out of my own pocket and I've had great results. The proof in the pudding was when a friend and I were driving our cars to a track day 300km away. When he serviced his oil on his 86, he didn't tighten the oil filler cap properly - around 20km from the track the cap came off and the engine vented the oil through the cap. We drove to a service station slowly and filled it again with oil - did the track day and then drove home. How did the engine survive? He said he uses MoS2 every single time, every oil change. I rebuild performance engines for a living. I thought the engine was absolutely toast due to low oil condition. But with a combination of regula MoS2 use and some conservative driving until we could fill it up again, it was 100% working and went on to do 20 motorkhana days 10 weekend 1000km hill runs and probably 30 track days - same engine that was run low on oil. He never changed the engine or repaired it - just kept on using MoS2. As a result we have a bit of a superstition around it and we only use it when it is compatible with the oil - you cannot add extra additives to an oil that is already full of it - it will ruin the oil. To do an accurate comparison, it needs to be done scientifically. 1. Constant load on dyno, for same time 2. Measure fuel consumption through a metering device or container / large burette 3. Record results. Now for the MoS2 friction and wear, 3 oil changes with 3 flushes, controlled load. 1. Flush oil, new oil, base line test - capture oil for analysis 2. Flush oil, new Oil, test with MoS2 - capture oil for analysis 3. Flush oil, new oil, Reference test - capture oil for analysis This will test the baseline and also test the MoS2 directly. For me, it's worth the money and fill. I only buy it when it's on discount at 1/2 price and stock up.

That's a great story, Probably with continuous use of MOS2 at every oil change and saturate the engine with MOS2 I can see the difference in performance, But in my case it doesn't happen instantly. Thanks for watching!!!👍

I tested the full metal bardahl, before 65 to 68dB, new oil 65 to 68dB, full metal bardahl 63 to 65dB! Io is a little thick, now I switched to the bardahl Racing oil booster 13103. I haven't measured yet but you can hear a quieter engine! And I prefer it because the 13103 additive has the fluidity of an oil.

Noise level will only reduce if you use a thicker oil or add a thickener to the oil.

Mann and castrol are ones of the worst brands out there ! Use mahle, knecht or OE filters for best results, i use Valvoline, Motul or liqui moly oils and they are great. 10k km and the oil level is the same, the difference on engine noise is huge compared with catrol. N47 320D

@@Motorsportsgeek Pennzoil high-mileage was great in my oil-burning/ oil-consuming Jeep. It was the only oil I found that tamed it a bit and the price was right at Wal-Mart in the big jugs.
