Attempts to win hearts and minds by treating folk with dignity and human respect goes a long way. Because someone mouths-off or not doing what you like (which isn't illegal) doesn't justify violence. I would either get a ticket or a warning, and were sent on my way. We're always trying to blame the police in every case, so we don't tell or show the whole truth about our own disrespectful attitudes, that causes situations to get out of hand.

In order to get those items into the officers hands, and to effectively hear each other, you will have to roll your window down. You are NOT required to roll your window all the way down…. The officers gave a faulty command that didn’t have to be followed. During a traffic stop if no other crime is suspected the officers have to respect your privacy. Tyreek had a good excuse to keep the window rolled up. He didn’t want the bad press. Any judge will see that video and realize yes Tyreek is an asshole but he didn’t break any crime or rule. The cops will have to pay which means the people of Miami will have to pay

THE COP DECIDED to stop and turn back and demand his window go back down. Everything after that point is just cops abusing power. Go run the registration come back and knock and have his window come back down. Dont stop in the middle of u walking away cuz u noticed his window go up and then antagonize him and try and do a “power play” and have him roll it back down. Well, in the heat of the moment. There are a lot of things going on. I wouldn't necessarily say that he's lying but at the same time. The police failed in many areas also. For example- give guidance of what you want in the beginning and not react after. Also, why do you have to tap on someone window in the first place. So let be honest about it all... A lot of things could've gone different in a positive way, but they went the direction they did for a reason. Can you imagine how many others received that treatment that doesn't have money?

Now you don't have to roll it all the way down, just enough where you can hear the officer and you can hear him/her. The cops were in the wrong. We have seen many videos when normal citizens dont roll their windows down or crack the windows, just like tyrek did. From the body cam i saw the cops overrated because he was talking back to them. Tyrek never resisted being detained. I hope they sue and the cops that were aggressive gets fired.

Tyreek was pulled over for speeding. He was antagonistic and noncompliant, as he refused to keep his tinted windows lowered and repeatedly told the officers not to tap on his windows. In an interview, Tyreek said that he had no idea why he was pulled over. He also mocked the arrest during the game. Tyreek is clearly not a victim. He broke the law and believes he is above the law.

I feel that the officer used poor judgment. This car thought was not a felony car stop, and Mr. Hill gave the officer his credentials for which the officer should’ve just went back to his motorcycle and issue Mr. Hill the summons and go on his way, but this shows you what type of officers These guys are this is not the first time they have performed their duties in this Drelich Way, and they do not represent the whole Dade county police department. and I know they were not taught this way in the police 👮♀️ academy. Let’s thank God that there was no shots fired and no one else that was seriously injured. I am a former police officer. @@darrinjohnson58 If the officer is still standing there trying to talk to you and you roll your window back up in his face, and then once he says roll it back down (which is a command) and you choose not to, now its a failure to comply. Reports say he was driving reckless as well, in Florida that is an offense that has cause for an arrest not just a ticket.

In Florida, during a lawful taffic stop, officers have the right to remove you from your vehicle, if you refuse, it's considered resisting without violence, and a misdemeanor committed in the Officers presence therefore arrestable. That's why Mr. Hill was removed from his vehicle and cuffed. Officer also have the discretion on misdemeanors to later unarrest and issue paperwork for the arrest. Mr. Hill escalated the situation by not complying. If we teach our kids to respect authority they will never have an issue with a LEO.
