Hi just to let everyone know the standard stock rear shock on the m20 is 230mm anything shorter like this one is 190mm you will loos hight of the seat so bare this in mind when ordering one try and buy one that’s 230mm 👌🏻
@baconbuttties10 ай бұрын
I'm sure My original didn't measure 230mm

Mine measured 230mm mate I bought the 190mm DNM I’m 6ft and my m20 turned into a child’s bike 😂 so measured the stock one and it’s 230mm Mate! Engwe used the cheapest passed to keep the cost down cheap suspension cheap breaks etc but all easily upgraded mate. Hope this helps your viewers have a great day mate 👌🏻

As always great video. I had put my M20 up for sale but watching your videos I thought I'd give it another chance because it causes me severe back pain. I changed the seat padding and things are much better. I think it's also useless, as in some American videos, to raise the saddle with 3D printing to make pedaling smoother, by changing the padding of the saddle I also solved this problem by raising the center of gravity and I have much more cushioning in the rear. Advice received from various craftsmen who modify motorcycle saddles. I look forward to the new and next rear shock you install, because that's the next change I'd like to make. Can't you anticipate the name/model? 😀 Sometimes I have the thought of changing the front lights with a larger fixed one, but I don't know which one to buy and if it doesn't create problems for the control unit.

I was thinking of a single front light also. The wiring to the headlight is 48v will have to look for something suitable 👍

Have you set the collar just tight enough to remove the play from the spring? It's hard to tell if you have wound some preload to it.
@baconbuttties Жыл бұрын
I used the preload that it came with
@RideyRodney Жыл бұрын
@@baconbuttties wind it all the way out, just enough to remove the play in the spring. More preload means more force required to initially move the spring, so lots of preload means small bumps feel rough.

What i dislike about 20x4" fat tyre bikes is punctures (I ride 2 of them) getting that tyre off the rim is as hard as motorcycle wheels (also ride motorcycles) my other e-bikes have 26,27.5 and 29" wheels and i can fix a puncture on them in a matter of minutes, not so on the 20x4" wheels, so next time you are out in the back blocks have a plan in place when you get a puncture, great video cheers.

Slime is your friend!!! My GF has had a super73 for over a year and the first week she got a puncture. I repaired it with a kit and filled each tyre with a full bottle of slime and she hasn't had any issues. Regularly rides over stoney ground and gravel and other sharp objects. She's even heard a puncture and within seconds the slime sealed it and she only lost like 2 psi

@BACONBUTTTIES did you need to buy new hardware to install the shock? Only as I noticed you had your bolts attached to the stock one. If possible would you be able to tell me the thickness of the bolt that runs through the shock?
