Our biggest problem as Africans is our lack of global racial awareness. We are no longer living in the days of tribes and Kingdoms. The Europeans destroyed those systems when they created the nation-state and colonized Africa. We are the by-product of what colonialization has done. Therefore, we have a pre-set conditioned identity given to us by Europeans. We identify ourselves by the artificial borders and nations that they created for us. Before colonization, there was no 'place' called Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, etc. These are the social constructs of European dominance in Africa over the course of 200 years. None of the current African nations were the natural creation of Africans. They were created by Europeans and handed over to Africans later in the form of "independence". Truthfully, there has not been true independence from European control but rather the appearance of such. The colonizers had already trained the Africans under their school systems to think and function like them. Look at the government systems in Africa. They are modeled after who? Look at the judicial system, the education system, the monetary system. What models do they follow? They all follow the systems set up by their former colonizers. When it comes to global competitiveness, It really doesn't matter what country we come from. What matters is how your competitor sees you, and in the eyes of the European people, they see us as "black people", period. They could care less about what country we come from. In their eyes, black is black, and it's us against them. When we as 'black' people finally wake up and realize that we are in a "racially" competitive system, we will be in a much better position to compete and win. Until then, our own division and fragmented view of ourselves will always keep us at the bottom.

@@princessprincess7708 Do you see different colors of white? When African people choose a global identifier that unites us under one banner (i.e., Black race), just as Europeans use White as their global identifier, there's always someone like you trying to tell us what you see. We don't care what you see Mrs White woman. It's about us today, not you, so why don't you stay out of the conversation. Your opinions don't matter to us anymore.
@Jus4-Us9 ай бұрын
@@princessprincess7708 So, you dont see black, rather, you see different colors of brown, and yet you refer to yourself as white? How can you not see black, which is a racial social construct created by whites to identify and segregate melonated people, but you can see "white"? The reason you see white, despite the fact that your skin color is not so, is because it is also a racial social construct created by so-called white people as a form of supremacy over those they deemed to be black. So, you proudly declare that you are white because you know that privilege comes with it. My point is that if you dont see black then you shouldnt see white either because both terms were created to demean one group and exhalt another.

Ok, to be basic and specific, black American means being black AND being born inside the USA (although the term “america can mean other North American countries), the reference is determined to be exclusively towards the USA or one of its protectorates. Further, this does not include any foreign born American from any country. It’s pretty simple. Now, as for the lady’s response regarding their open and mostly positive experiences with black American men (supposed), the audience should have the insight to understand that these interactions occurred within Rwanda. Meaning, it’s a completely different story within the USA.

You think Africans in the continent are thinking and invested in the American culture like that?
@meganakinsanya4702 Жыл бұрын
@wokeone these are all the BA men videos on KZbin constantly talking about women other than theirs. Always talking about women, how they can get women, how they can feel good about different varieties of women. As an African woman, it’s truly nauseating ! How about building, creating businesses ? They are looking to spread their seeds all around the world like sex depraved animals. Truly disgusting!
