I marvel every time I see any or you guys replace sickle sections and just take a wrench to the bolt and nut and swamp them out. Then use the rivet tool to squash the new one down.

Thanks for another interesting harvest video. It was most interesting and enjoyable to watch. Sorry you are frustrated with the settings on the combine at harvest time. Good you have the dealer coming out to look at it. Know you had some work done on it so maybe just needs some more adjustments made. Hard to tell sometimes. Sometimes it is just the operation also. Not pointing fingers at you but think you know what I mean. Our hired man and me could never agree on what was Right and what was wrong!!!!! Those were the days!!!!!! He has passed on now, probably got wore out with me complaining all the time; some humor there and I know very little. Lots of the KZbin channels I watch are like you; too much green stems right now, had to quit with the combine. Just that time of the year I think. You could hire me as a high wage consultant and the answer would be the same BUT I would have some money in my pocket-ha!!!!!! See you had you and Dad and Onyx and Jim out helping. Pretty good team of good old farm people!!!!!!!! About it I guess. You all take care. Will be anxious to hear how you come out on the combine settings. Take care ALL!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Awesome seeing your family. With the green beans and pods in sample.maybe a manual sieve calibration.? First time I saw that sieve calibration on a combine other day. Had buttons on chassis for each sieve. So computer was all up the cock as to where they actually were? We're never opening fully nor closing. Does your combine have that? Made all the difference. And it had been in to get ready at the dealer. I had wondered what these buttons were for and wasn't in manual?

I don’t know anything about beans but in peas our case does an unbelievable sample, yes we do get pods once in awhile but compared to my uncle and cousins deere it is much cleaner. Definitely not saying a deere is a bad combine, i would definitely buy one if need be but we do like our red stuff. Neighbor has a 9770 that does one heck of a good job on wheat but can’t clean peas as well as our 7120. In the end the dockage is basically the same at any elevator anyway so just depends on what color you want to run

We have been drier than a popcorn fart here in West Central Iowa. Red flag warning indefinitely so farmers are having to watch their equipment extra close for overheating or anything fire risk wise. Our crops are in Central Iowa and had more consistent rain there but most of our beans are out now. Just have a little left and then onto the corn. That lawnmower last time was interesting. They are quite expensive though. Hopefully they drop in price quickly. Thanks for sharing as usual. Hope everyone is healthy, safe and happy.

i wish someone would explain what all the beeps and sounds are that the combines and tractors make
@darrylpaulhus30692 ай бұрын
They are warning buzzers on the monitors. Beeps when engaging and disengaging autosteer system. You can also set the monitor to beep when you are a certain distance from the end of a pass. Too many other things explain but the beeps are just normally a warning of something being engaged or disengaged.
