What makes Sheogorath my favorite Daedra, is the fact that he's a being that doesn't care for worship, or even really his own power, but just fun. He does want respect, but he doesn't want someone that'll grovel at his feet and sing his praises with every breath, he likes people that he can either have fun with, or find some intrigue in. Its the classic idea that you'd have to be mad to play with a god, but in this case its exactly what he wants.
@singletona0825 жыл бұрын
On the other hand he does fin Haskill quite useful as madness does not nessicarly mean the absense of all order. Just an order that is well outside of what is normally acceptable, and even those that are quite mad do appreciate having a functional home, by their rules and definitions of course.

The Daedric artifact known as Pes Dolor is a horrific weapon forged from the tears of grown men and women. It is said that the Daedric prince of Pain and eternal Sharp Things, Legosathras, once made this weapon to use it against Akatosh, however since Akatosh was a dragon Legosathras failed to trap him,p. But this flaw in the design gave him an idea, instead of a single peace it would be multiple pieces of varying sizes and shapes and to further his own diabolical scheme the Cultists in charge of forging it made all the pieces clear. P.S if you can read Latin it might be more fun

I also can fucking SNAP when someone says something crooked, like when this one dude was mocking my irish accent and said it was fake, i broke both of his arms, one of his legs, and almost mutilated him with a glass shard before one of my friends calm me down. Yea, i have a temper. I kind of understand where the guy i beat the living shit out of was coming from. No black people like me should have an irish accent. Thats stupid. Talos is actually Tiber Septim, Ysmir Wulfharth, and Zurin Arctis, three Shezzarines made divine because of the warp in the west. +Dan Malin Hermaeus Mora is the smartest because of his curiosity and the fact he likes gathering all past, present and future knowledges : you could accurately speak of "wisdom", "scholarship" or "intellect". Sheogorath is rather a "trickster", as Vile Clavicus he's cunning because you can't anticipate what he has in mind when you deal with him. So yes you can consider it's a kind of cleverness because what makes the strenght of a trickster is a secret skill you don't have. Hope it's enlightening you.

I'm just surprised that they didn't touch on the ending of the shivering isles DLC and the fact that the Sheogorath we encounter in Skyrim probably isn't the original, but actually the hero of kavatch who in the DLC stops the Grey March and assumes the throne of madness as the new Sheogorath.

ShoddyCast I dont know if you will ever read this but from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for all the work and dedication you and your crew have put into this epic series. It is so appreciated and I am glad I got a chance to watch all of your lore vids. Also my best friend's Grandmother had Alz and it was a very hard thing for the family to have to go through. In any case God bless to you and yours and to your entire crew. Much appreciated for everything you have done for all of us here on youtube.

"There must always be a me for me to be me or is it we." Nice nod to the HoK mantling Sheogorath in a very Sheogorath kind of way. Everything he says ways males sense.
@159tony9 жыл бұрын
interesting note about Haskill is that he once attempted the very thing that the champion of cyrodiil did by mantling. he could possibly have been "Arden Sul" and Arden Sul according to the heretics; was a powerful wizard in the first era who freely explored the waters of oblivion, and found his way to Jyggalag's library but ultimately lost his mind due to the secrets he uncovered, and the other princes might've used this mortal's madness to their advantage and merge the two, warping Jyggalag into Sheogorath, creating a new daedric prince in the process, and what's left of Arden sul exists in the form of Haskill, a person who apparently knows where the last remains of Jyggalags library is held, how would he know this unless he had been previously there while the realm was still jyggalags i wonder. and of course This is if the Lore Masters interview is to be considered canon to the story.

If I where to make a deadric artifact, it would the infinious foodus; a medium sized bag that fills with an infinite amount of a food of your choice. The consequence is that the user would eat themselves to death and in turn the infinious foodus would return to my plane of oblivian. Jokes aside, I loved this series and I can't wait for it to return. Outstanding job ShoddyCast!

the deadric princes knew they fucked up when making sheogorath (Hero of kvatch) when they are still losing to him ,Learning from him,They wont even fight him they fear him,they get mocked to a point they hate themselves.Now that prince of order is free from the hero of kvatch who became sheograth, they have have to decide who to deal with new sheogorath or prince of order.

Such as explaining the lore and history behind each individual race that makes up 'The Covenant-Hierarchy', that would be awesome. With how much I loved watching and learning about the in-depth history of the world of 'Nirn'; I somewhat pity the games that only enjoy watching 'Let's Plays' and 'Walkthroughs'. For it is the history of a game that makes up the game that you journey and play in, without Lore and depth... There is no game. And also cheers to ShoddyCast for making a fantastic Lore-series!

"Proving on the internet that if you're a big enough nerd, anything is possible". Brilliant, and thank all of you for your work on this. Nicely done and there a few of us who would rather hear a good tale of an interesting story with a familiar voice than...live vicariously watching someone else...play a game? I guess?

Thank you ShoddyCast for the amazing show! You've brought context into a lore-heavy series, especially where it can be convoluted and daunting to try wrap your head around on the first round. Thank you for having such love for the series and bringing understanding to the world of Nirn! Can't wait for your next installment and enjoy your break.

ShoddyCast, I know things like this aren't the 'best' loved items on KZbin. But the way you are doing them is wonderful. It makes me want to go back and replay TES even after dumbing 100s of hours at a time in a single game. Keep it up. You don't need to do a live action, the way you are telling the lore is awesome...but that's just my thoughts on it.

ShoddyCast Crew, I find it appropriate that this being the last TES Lore video to tell you I'm proud to say I've never watched a "Let's Play" type video. I don't intend to either. I love it when I see people put quality into something for the sake of the art and their love of the subject than sinking to a level like "Let's Play" for a quick cash grab. I'm a late comer to this series and I'm sad I didn't get to look forward to weekly releases. But I think this series is one of the best on KZbin. You set the bar, even if few people take the time to try and reach it. Fantastic Job.

I hate watching let's plays. I always see them stumbling around the game, encountering "problems" when the answer is right in front of them. Literally. Then they go off and blame the game, saying it's stupid, and stop playing it. FUCK let's plays.

The next Elder Scrolls would be awesome if it had the following story: Jyggalag, the Prince of Order, the most powerful of the Daedra, returns to take revenge on the other Daedra. And, this time, instead of the ridiculous story where you choose between the Empire and the Stormcloaks, you can determine the fate of an entire pantheon.
