ShodyFood #10 - Kichi-Kichi Omurice (Japan Trip)

Kichi-Kichi is a restaurant located in Kyoto - Japan and has been making highlights of its Fluffy Cut-Open Omurice. The Chef, Motokichi is a super friendly, fun person. He likes to communicate with his customers. Interior is small, plays disco & soul records which is very entertaining.
You have to make reservation to get to the restaurant and have to order 1 dish per person.
We ordered The Omurice, half-sized omurice, and Casseroled Chicken Leg.
All and all, this restaurant lives up to its hype. not only the crazy-cool presentation and very cool chef, the taste is also not disappointing.
You should try and experience it for yourself.

For me, this lives up to its hype, omurice was good, kind of at the plain side, which is demi glace based. I appreciate the chef's skill and effort. Cheers, Motokichi-san!

FDSeoul San Diego I luckly had the chance to go, I can say the omurice itself is certainly not worth the price lol. The taste is unique but I wouldn't say delicious honestly 😶 I did enjoy the experience overall though and would recommend going once.
