Nike Fly By Mid 3 vs Fly By Mid 2 Performance Comparison on Nike's CHEAPEST Basketball Shoe

I had a pair of the Fly by 2's and they were about the most uncomfortable shoe i have worn in a long time. Big 5 took them baxk which was good. The midfoot arch area seemed to tight for my foot. I did however did end up trying on a pair of KD Trey 5 IX and they fit much better. I ended up ordering a pair of KD Trey 5 VIII from Nike, excited to try them out.

Yeah I’ve noticed the same thing. I tested out the KD Trey lV this week and it’s more comfortable for sure 👌🏼

Neither of these shows give the best outdoor performance to be totally honest. The cushioning isn’t very strong to protect your foot and the grooves aren’t very deep so the traction pattern will wear away quickly. But if I had to choose I’d go with the Fly By 3 👌🏼

I personally like the Air Max Impact 3, it’s a little higher quality and the cushion feels better 👌🏼

Honestly both play about the same, the Fly By Mid 3 feels a little less quality but it’s also a more affordable shoe to buy

I don’t love the impact protection for outdoor courts, but if the cushion doesn’t bother your foot and it responds well then definitely 👌🏼
