Won 3 Group 1 races. His overall record was 13 wins, 12 seconds and 8 thirds from 58 starts. Incredibly all 12 seconds were in Group 1 races. His racing style didn't help but spectacular to watch with powerful finishes.

Ian Craig picking him out of the lineup at exactly the right moment in the Theo Marks. Great call. And then again in the lightning. All class

Totally agree. Shogun Lodge might have been a favourite for Ian Craig as well :)

I was on Padfoot Charlie in that Tulloch Stakes and again in the derby 😢

He missed by "that much" in the Tulloch - would've been a big collect for you if won. The inside bias track cost Padfoot Charlie any chance in the Derby given his get back racing pattern. I followed Padfoot through most of his 3yr old season then dropped off but, from memory, won a Canberra Cup as an older horse.
