In-fact the only person to hit one farther is Micky Mantle with 565feet and 603 feet. So yeah Mark certainly could do it all with roids. I just hope Ohtani is doing it legit. Cause what he is doing is amazing. Most of the home run records are from the steroid area.

lifting legs tend to help ohtani pull, but makes him venerable to outside pitches. One example of this is Joc Pedersen's high leg kick = high strike out rate. He hit bombs on middle and inside pitches he can pull, but strikes out on outside heaters and breaking balls. The Angels coaching staff saw this with Ohtani, and had him go with no leg lift. This works well for him because from that point most of his HRs are center field or oppo on outside pitches.

Ohtani was planning to join Dodgers' minor league organization as Dodgers scout 15 yrs ago from previous ownership had almost successfully scouted Ohtani. Ohtani had publicly asked the Japanese Professional Baseball teams not to draft him because he decided to go US for a baseball career directly right before the Japan baseball drafting and before his high school graduation in 2012. Ohtani had foreen Dodgers was going to win 2020 World Series Championship in 2011 and wrote down this except he was expecting himself as a roster of Dodgers' pitchers in the series. However, Japan Prof team, Fighters, drafted Ohtani in 2012 and proposed Ohtani to become 1st 2way/3way baseball player in the world changed Ohtani's whole life and his whole baseball career. Ohtani gave up immediate goal of becoming a Dodgers minor pitcher, instead he chose the unicorn 🦄 path to be first super elite 2way/3way baseball player in baseball history! Not until DH position was available for Ohtani since 2022, Dodgers was handicapped in attracting 2way Ohtani to consider Dodgers. It took Dodgers 15 yrs to sign Ohtani after tracing him since he was a 1st year student in high school.

ehhh it will be tricky, 1st he is on the angels right now, great players still need good teams, and even a player as good as him cant win a game alone. 2nd, he started his career a little late, while he will put up some impressive numbers, pitchers tend to fall off (especially hard throwers like shohei) once their speed drops so he probably wont have the time to accumulate alot of pitching accolades as for his hitting its impressive but only time will tell what feats in the batters box he will be able to accomplish. Still might make it to the Hall just harder than alot of people think
