Brilliant Greg, great advice for all. My pet hate is people just blasting down trails, or roads, and not taking in the environment, not breathing in the fresh air and taking in the views. If you stop to get your camera out you are not only going to take photos and preserve great memories of the day, but you'll immerse yourself more into the scene and enjoy the landscape even more. I am that guy who holds everyone up because I want to stop, relax a bit, take it in and create something I can keep forever to remind me of a day out on the bike. Just ordered a few stickers from you for the CRF450L I've just bought, not sure if that's yours or Dave's fault, but I'm obviously now looking forward to getting out on it and creating some even more adventurous memories. Many thanks, Mike

i'm so happy i found this channel, this is what i love to do, ride my bike and take photographs, just a question, i found my dslr quite big to keep "on hand" on the bike, how do you carry your camera to keep it accesible?

I didn't realise that you do ride outs. Some useful tips there Greg, I've always been interested in photography and have a Flickr channel. I do take lots of pictures of my bikes, but mainly take landscape photos. I mainly use my phone and it's a Chinese brand and a few years old now, but you can take a photo showing depth of field using it by pressing on the screen the image in the foreground that I want in focus and the background is then left blurry. What's the cost for the ride outs? 👍
@GregVillalobos3 жыл бұрын
The ride outs are bit of an experiment. The first one was free!

I think the point about making yourself stop to make the most of those opportunities is a strong one. For me, I have to make it clear to myself before I step out the door what kinda day on the bike I want. Is it to actually ride and turn off, or go out with the cameras/mics/cables/boom operator etc. and make something fun and creative? Both is ideal, but if I sort that out first I tend to relax more. Also, if you bring this show on the road to the South West I’m in!

Nice video...some good tips, and it sounds like it was a good ride 👌. I promised myself I would always make the effort to do a U turn or stop when I spot a nice photo opportunity...no more riding on and then regretting it! Although some mountain road U turns are quite challenging on a tall adventure bike!!😄 Cheers, Steve

@@GregVillalobos haha thanks 👍 But I think we're always learning! Even if it's just refreshing. So many things I forget about, and after watching videos like this I'll remember something to do next time. Leaning my bike against something is definitely on the list! So thanks! ✌️
