It's a cross between a badass late 1960-early70s slow plodding bluesy ecstasy jam piece with the best of late 80s shred blended in. Kind of a Jeff Beck meets a just touch of Joe Satriani & Steve Vai kind of a vibe. It builds up slowly with a very soulful sound taken to a good melody, with those short flashes of virtuosity mixed in at the end. That mix of chorus with a short echo with the medium decay and the compression is a nice touch. It's a slapback timed echo but with a longer decay time than a true slapback with some light chorus and perhaps an octavia. Very very nice!

Can smell the smoke from here. Sure you could drive to it, but unlike most drivin' songs, THIS one can be enjoyed on a walk, outdoors, in the Sunshine, or under the Stars. To me it sounds like the contemplation of life regardless of the direction your River be flowing. No fat on this one. All Heart.

Wow Andy! Where to start. 1st, the tone is so sweet and smooth, but has some hair on it to..the composition and the groove and the change to the harmony lines at 2:16. Very memorable. Great writing. The sounds, the octave fuzz has some great flavors of AT, JS, but its all you in your application of notes! Great build up to the close out. My wife heard it from the other room and kept asking me if it was "Lovin, Touchin, Squeezing because of the groove. Lol. Great Job and looking forward to the record..I pray for overwhelming support, response and the blowing away of many like minded minds! Excited man for this one as I am sure your stoked as well. Congrats ! ✌️

Hello Andy. I heard your name for the first time when I saw the Sweetwater Video where you were featured as a Suhr Artist. You hit the first notes on the Guitar and I became an instant fan then and there itself. Heard a few more of your solo stuff and I love your playing. This track gave me so much Stank Face. Haha !!! Andy Wood. Where do I begin. Your note choice, your restraint-your total success in making the guitar absolutely *sing* over a single note. Evocative, unpredictable (but not too much), and that little trem flutter around 3:30ish is pure subtle fire. Seriously, I think it’s one of your best. I was even thinking “I might even be able to play this!” Then the outro happened. Bravo, sir. Only because I’ve been to tons of your workshops, I could hear little touches of all your influences, but it still distinctly sounds like you. Bravo, sir. And congrats. I gotta see this live. Come to Columbia for old times sake?
