This is where the plate rack normally sits. We're limited by the small size of the berm. This seemed like a good way to get mileage out of not a lot of stuff to set up and tear down in the heat: Just two targets and a "barricade" with three "ports." Hit each target one time from each port, for a total of 6 hits per string.
We made the ports big and easy to accommodate shooters of all heights and levels of flexibility. The improvised nature of the barricade earned the nickname "homeless camp." Overall, I think it was a simple way to keep things a little different and fresh. It certainly could have been made more challenging, but we're more about letting everyone have a good time. Also, did I mention it was HOT?!?
