@gb936695 жыл бұрын
It didn't look like a malfunction, just empty mag and slide locked back. If this is the case, then she wasted time racking the slide when she could have been reaching for the fresh mag and then racking the slide on it. Edit: I looked again, and she did have to eject a round; good job.

Being able to feel malfunctions or slide lock based on recoil impulse is super important. There's no way you're looking at your gun with enought mental capacity to see a malfunction in the heat of the moment, but with thousands of rounds fired, you develop the muscle memory to feel the slide position. She obviously knows what she's doing. Watching some security footage or body cam footage of shootings will show how many officers have no idea there gun is empty.

AND someone who supports the 2A and gun training... it was AWESOME to see the dude at the end, Ryan, talk about wanting to change perceptions and work at training to raise the standards for integrity. Normally, it’s a very polarizing and blue vs black topic. I was grateful to see the awareness, the wisdom and the honesty it took for him to say that. Donald P great for you. Saving upwards of 200k+ for land that’s 8-10 hours (maybe farther) away from me isn’t exactly feasible nor practical. Let’s face it, Texas isn’t as great of a “pro gun” state as some others, arizona and nevada being two of them. Perhaps if like 95% of the land here wasn’t privately owned, it’ll be a different story.
@richieewinns5 жыл бұрын
Donald P 1. Again, I didn’t say texas ISNT pro gun. It’s just not as pro gun as popular opinion may lead you to think. 2. Sure I can see that being part of my routine in the future, but for now it isn’t feasible and that isn’t to blame anything. 3. Of course not. It is however a factor as to why land is absurdly expensive to the major cities. It’s that simple. Your situation may be ideal for you depending on your living needs, but it ain’t for me mate. Different strokes for different folks.

Training is applicable for anyone with a sound mind, people of any age. You can't move like they can but you can become significantly more proficient just being more familiar with having fired more at the range and also handling the weapon more often and for longer periods. Its all about familiarity and dexterity with the weapon, the more you do it the better you are
