Vans are so practical. It's a shame that a lot of people are so vain that they don't want to be seen in a van, even though it would suit their needs better than a pickup, SUV or crossover. And it's nice to see someone having fun with a work van by turbocharging it! Yes, very stealthy look. Just blends right into traffic or any commercial/industrial area.

5 yrs I've had one, best work vehicle ever... lifted 3" and fat 33x12 mud tires .. used for work and hunting 425k km runs like new

Cargo vans are superior to pickups for most tradesmen. Only reason I'm in my Silverado instead of a cargo van is because I do landscaping on the side and you don't want all that gasoline in the passenger compartment with you. Otherwise I'd trade it in for an express today.

I was really confused as to why someone would turbocharge a rusty work van, but the extra power for towing makes sense. I bet it has tons of traction with AWD and turbo lag for days. Did you know the original vans in the 60s had their engines between the seats? The center console was the engine cover. The Corvair and Volkswagen were exceptions.

A number of vans had that engine configuration up till the late 90's, mostly Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi. Although the Toyotas had their engines under the driver's seat, not between the seats.

I have an o3 awd with the 350 vortex. 1st time I drove it in a snowstorm it felt like I was driving on dry pavement. It's rusty now, but trusty.

They make these in conversion van form actually too. Explorer has them, pretty interesting. I like these since it is like the 1990s in the 2020’s

I have a 2016 Quigley 6.6 Duramax. It's my daily driver. Love the van. Hate that Chevy quit putting the V8 Duramax in them, 2016 was the last year for the V8 diesel. They now put a 2.8 four cylinder diesel in them. I test drove one, it was ok when it got up to speed. Taking off from a stop it wouldn't get out of its own way. I drove four hours to a dealership to get my van. I wouldn't walk across the street to get that four cylinder. Who in their right mind would buy a 3500 work van with a 2.8 liter motor?

Companies that benefit from keeping their entire fleet diesel and need to idle for certain amount of times. Deliveries / small errands etc. I have owned diesel vehicles for the last 14 years. Have never ever ever ever paid for fuel. Why ? Because I use diesel from them. Never would buy a gas. I saved literally hundreds of thousands $$$$

I have a 2006 Chevy express van AWD 5.3 and it’s a 2500. I was confused but it is to be a emergency vehicle and apparently that’s why it has AWD as a 3/4 ton

It’s been 6.0 swapped now with a mild built 4L60E with a Tahoe t case. Precision 7576 rear mount turbo. Injector clinic 85 pound injectors with a 340 lph fuel pump. Electric fan conversion from pcm of North Carolina. Also has rear airbags for towing
