What brand in wall speakers are you running in that setup and are you happy with them?

Good video but it was really hard to see a difference or notice the switch between the two with the exception of a few scenes where there was noticeable flicker. It would have been better if you would have split the screens to see them side by side. Also, which screen and screen material were you using? I did like how there was not a huge wash out with the ambient light on in the back ground.

The difference in contrast is negligible. The 695 is very slightly higher. Not worth the huge price difference between these 2 (well the 695 has lens memory I guess).

You can't make any decent comparison when your walls aren't even black. the ambient light kills of any difference you may get from the dynamic iris of the more expensive projector.

Not much difference at all. I bet the 295 can be tweaked to have the same "extra" brightness like the 695

there is a setting in the hidden service menu, if your turn up the gain, you can get way more brightness. check out avsforums.
