Shop Truck Update! - October COE Progress

In August I showed some projects that were in the shop. One that got a lot of response was the 1953 COE, which will be a daily driven shop truck once it's done. DT has been working away on it the past few weeks and made some serious progress on the chassis and rear suspension. I’m super stoked for this! If it were her and her dad, they’d be a top contender for my #1 team. Although it’s a pretty crazy lineup! And no shade meant to Emilia. I’ve tried watching her stuff and just can’t get into it. Right now I think I’m going with team LZ. Although it’s really hard to choose 1 team. Overall I’ll just be excited to see everyone getting together, having fun, and making connections. Hell yeah brother! 🦅 🇺🇸 🏁

Denis, you should be able to find a power unit off a Freightliner/Kenworth Cab-Over. The other thing is to have a dash switch as a lockout. ( For the cab tilt)

I think you broke a record. Longest parallel 4 bar ever. Longer than a monster truck. I love it. 14 bolt rearend are tried and true. The drums are actually better than disc in a towing application.

Yet a suggestion what would be cool to incorporate into this project is dual fuel tanks I had them in my old Chevrolet Silverado and they came in handy.😯. Just a suggestion if it a bad one put me in the dog house😄

Not diesel, narrowed a narrow rear, tall rear gears, 3.5" frame notches. It will look like a really sweet and cool tow rig but I wouldnt bother with a trailer hitch. The flip cab is a nice touch though and seeing that would be cool. 👍
