Afterease drops off of Amazon. Those after birth contractions KILL with baby #2 idk what kind of magic those drops are but they helped so much. Definitely still took ibuprofen as well.

REST! Be easy on yourself. Give yourself time to recover fully. Do not push yourself too much especially at first. I had two emergency c sections so the recovery was especially hard for me. I can hands down say the two things that helped me the most was taking it easy and drinking lots and lots of water!!!

I did a meal delivery service the first few weeks. Definitely worth the cost to not have the stress of cooking and dishes. I was able to focus on just being fully present with my daughter. 10/10 recommend.

I have successfully breastfed two babies past a year, and I’m currently bfing baby three and having a great experience thus far. My first really struggled with latch and my nipples were in major pain. My milk actually worked as the best relief more than any “creams.” Cracked nipples are a given at least in the first week because your nipples are simply getting used to the suction and pull, so once my milk comes in I just squeeze a drop out and rub it in to my nipple. It’s worked like a dream. I avoid lanolin because it’s not technically supposed to be ingested by baby. The only thing I’ll use apart from my milk is coconut oil because it’s super hydrating and taste safe. Lactation cookies are a gimmick mostly. The best things for milk supply are lots of water to stay hydrated, getting enough calories from a balanced diet, and possibly most of all is simply feeding baby on demand. I do not recommend pumping on top of nursing unless you’re pumping to replace a normal feeding time because otherwise it will create an oversupply which can lead to clogged ducts and mastitis (I’ve dealt with both and it’s pretty miserable).

I think you have all the things there, it makes postpartum so much better. Just a note, the elvie is more of a portable pump and the haaka only catches the letdown on the side baby is not feeding on. I would actually keep the elvie, for those travel discrete pumping sessions, and also get the haakaa. There is a ladybug haakaa available now, which looks great. My second baby is due in December, so these videos will help me so much. I am prepping with you 🤗

I used the earth mama nipple cream when I was breast feeding and it worked well and is safe for baby. I also use earth mama diaper balm on my son and is amazing!

I ditto the earth mama nipple cream!!! The lanolin cream pulls at your nips which made mine worse. The cream is like lotion and works amazing!!!!

The lactation cookies were so yummy! My husband used to try to steal some from me lol. And yes to the disposable underwear, then you can just put some of the witch hazel pads in there, it’s nice bc then you don’t have a big maxi-pad sliding all over the place. Can’t wait to see baby Ben!!!💙

Don't count on getting a lot of supplies from the hospital! If you can ask what they will provide. I gave birth in January and was shocked at how little they provide now. When in the birth room I got giant pads, baby formula ( had to supplement), and lots of other stuff. When I left and went to recovery I got the world's worst pads and they were not it for catching everything. Even when I used two( one faced backwards). I also needed more mesh underwear and they could only get me 1 pair. Baby formula was scarce ( apparently the formula shortage had started back then!), and they were not as free with baby wipes or diapers. It was odd. My first two I was busting at the seams with stuff lol. I packed less this time based on that and wished I had brought my own postpartum pads and baby formula 😭 This was in TX for reference. I hope your hospital/ it being 9 months later makes a difference in what they provide.

The lactation cookies and the liquid gold pills are super good and I think they helped! You can also use your belly band while your still pregnant to help with back/pelvic pain. Also i love the cross over bras for breastfeeding I lived in those.

Hey! My baby boy is almost one month! Looks like you are covered. Fridamom is amazing! I also love their knot sucker and Windi Gas passer. Personally I didn’t like the dermoplast. I had first degree tear and that really stings when I used. My hospital gave me it along with so many other products. Witch hazel in the peri bottle with warm water was very comforting and refreshing.

Silverettes helped to save my nipple. I used them religiously for 2 weeks and never needed the nipple cream. I highly recommend!

The Hakka was a no go for me last go round. Who wants to walk around with a big horn hanging off lol 😂 i don’t know why everyone recommends it… I have the same elvie and although I haven’t used them.. I think it will be so much more practical to stick in your bra and not be bulky and in the way. Also, Those cookies are really good! And nipple shields are LIFE CHANGING. I know you said you had trouble with breastfeeding scarlet, I had crack/bleeding issues and it was excruciating but those made the experience sooo much better!

The depends were an amazing buy. I got them for when I had my daughter and it was the best thing I got. The nurse was like I don't even know why we don't give those instead of the pads. I will definitely be buying them again when I give birth to baby number 2

They gave me a squire bottle last time but not a belly band! The Frida mom squirt bottle seems a lot more convenient though compared to what the hospital gives you which is why I want it!

Only bought 2 things for 4 years of breastfeeding 2 kids. Bamboobies and I leaked alot the first 6 months so had to get the throw away pads too.

Multi-Mam nipple compresses changed my life for sure, I kept them on my nipples all the time at the beginning of breast feeding and I feel like it did help me avoiding a lot of wounds that are super hard to heal….if you are to get one thing this would be it! Having baby #3 in a week and a half or less, this was super helpful! Will say, this will be 3rd breastfed baby and coconut oil has been the best help with the sore nipples and is safe for the baby, especially if you apply regularly.

I like healing foam better. Dermoplast feels oily and burned but maybe I'm different. I had a biopsy down there on my "hood" the worst place 😢 lol maybe it will work better for childbirth for me!

Are you sure your frida mom wasn’t just missing the perri bottle? I bought this kit and it was included. Unless they have different kinds. 🤷🏽‍♀️ but omg i SWEAR! by the legendairy products! I was pumping a lot during my breastfeeding journey so for me pump princess and liquid gold were my go to. It doubled my supply within three months. And with those lactation cookies be careful. I was eating those and found that fenugreek dries me up and that’s where a lot of my supply issues stemmed from.

Check out the kiinde twist bottles. you pop the breastmilk bag right into the base/frame, so there is ZERO washing of bottles! you only have to wash the nipples. cuts down on work & clutter of having a bunch of bottles drying out on the counter.

The original Hakka is nice the only downside is if your baby's a kicker which mine was it's kinda fall off the nipple buthe nipple but they don't have to hack a ladybug that's supposed to be like the curve so,

Hey girl! I suffer from sweating postpartum as well.. currently sweating as I’m typing this lol. One thing that helps is mens deodorant for a few months after.. also I take some hormone balance pills to help. I think they are from pink stork. I can send a link on ig. ❤️
