Almost looks at first glance like an old civil war battle ground with the cannons lined up.

I just picked up a mint condition Cub Cadet 104 to add to my collection. Always wanted one of the old engines you restore but haven't bought one yet. Great video as usual.

When I was a kid I could get those old one lunger engines for nothing and some people would almost pay me to take them. We use to have a lot of chicken farms and they use to use AC Delco Light Plants to light them back in the day. In the 60s and 70s I ended up with 14 AC Delco Light Plants 850 models and I got 6 of them running and working before a guy from Rohde Island bought them all off of me. Now if I find a one lunger, they want an arm and a leg for it even seized up. I still have my first engine I ever got, it's a 3 1/2 horse Fairbanks I got when I was 8 yrs old. We use it to run an old 24 inch thickness planer my dad got out of an old watermill back in the early 80s.

I've been to many engine auctions, but none to compare with this one. Sadly, those big ones will end up in the foundry.

,, about 840 miles round trip,, and well worth the drive,, two days, two auctioneers, nonstop selling,, Polk Auction Co handled it perfectly,, like two sales in one, and the engines that will be saved are someones pride and joy,, i'm already thinking about parts to fix the engine I got,,,

I salivate over all these engines. I love auctions but I have insufficient funds to bid on anything over $10. Saw several large Stationaries I would love to tinker with.
