The goal is to stay objective and to not make the shoplifter, or anyone committing a crime, more aggressive in any way, if possible, which clearly it was here. His initial comment about her dirty hands is what made the situation get to what it was, it was his job to de escalate but he did not. She was clearly walking out and knocked over some store baskets on the way out which I'm not saying is right, but choosing to then arrest her and make a bigger situation out of it simply bc she knocked over 1 thing on her way out when they could of just let her leave, be done with the situation and go deal with more pressing matters. They really need to do a better job at looking and situations and thinking if it's worth it or not. She was leaving, she threw a lil tantrum other than that the situation would of been over.

She was asked to leave many times and refused she was trespassed and banned from the store she returned she refused to leave, cops come ask her to leave, she refuses, then she threatens to SOCK one in the face (assault) then is disorderly, shouting the F word at him ,not pleasant and in the UK that would be a hate crime! Then she pulls over a stack of buckets then she refuses to obey a lawful order to STOP!, then she flees then resists arrest, then she assaults a police officer (minor), then she injures her self doing a forward roll. Then screams and shouts and is causing more disorderly conduct. She is carrying drugs and drug paraphernalia and appears to have outstanding warrants - she may have gotten away with the drug charges... ALL THIS! All she had to do when to cops asked her to leave was pick up her bag and walk out! Thats it! Job done! Like her associate who I heard was released on the spot. This is all her fault. Having 6 credit cards is beyond reasonable. The same way after a certain amount of drugs is a charge with the intent to distribute. 1 or 2 cards can be understood but 6 cards is unlikely. We have laws that allow police to charge you with intent so having 6 cards with other people’s names on them while you had charges of stealing and you are being trespassed should literally be enough to hold you on some sort of charge. Disorderly conduct is a crime in most jurisdictions, such as the United States and China. Typically, "disorderly conduct" is a term used to refer to any behavior that is considered unacceptable in a formal, civilized or controlled environment. Many types of unruly conduct may fit the definition of disorderly conduct, as such statutes are often used as "catch-all" crimes. Police may use a disorderly conduct charge to keep the peace when people are behaving in a disruptive manner, but otherwise present no danger.
