Radial arm pin router!!! John, you're hysterical! Always a terrific show.

I wear my everyday sneakers in my shop, nothing fancy, just like John. Similar rotation too from new to mowing!!

I have a pair of Merrill's slip-ons that I like for shop work. Good leather shoes, comfortable, and fairly solid toe box. No steel toes, but my excuse is that I don't make big projects and don't use sharp objects that much. As for summer projects - finishing up last years leftovers and what I had started when the weather got nice, then went to winter again. 😊 I, for one, look forward to the podcasts each week. Phil is a great moderator, Logan seems to always have an anecdotal incident that fits in, and John joins in with his humor and quick wit. It's almost like three guys sitting around at the coffee shop having a good ol' time. Keep up the good work !

That's the idea. We try to give an inside look at what goes on here in the course of producing the magazines and the shows.

I worked in my shop for 30 years without “proper” footwear. But then I saw a plug for Wolverine steel toed sneakers in the “Stuff We Love” column in Family Handyman magazine. I don’t actually tie the laces, so they’re a bit like slippers - very comfortable!

Worked in a wood office furniture shop after college. Coworkers there talked about working in a competing shop that built a large conference table and put a shaper on the table upside down and used it like a router to shape the table edge! Said it was a crazy scary experience.

The modern Power Pro Shopsmith can be a drill press, horizontal drill press, over head router, and under table router and that is all in one tool with speed range from 250 to 10,000 RPM and 2HP. Oh yes Shopsmith can be used as a Shaper.

Hey ! My Shopsmith machine does have over-arm router capabilities. No extra space required !

Ha. I'll have to look into that option. I knew there were several configurations, but not the over-arm router.

Just like John whatever tennis shoes I find in the closet. I am trying to convert my one car garage into a shop with emphasis on Woodturning.

thank you for answering my question. I"m looking at redoing our Kitchen cabinets and my Wife wanted, arched raised panel doors and I've never used a shaper and I was also looking at getting a router table, that being said. I'm a Dewalt fan boy what router would you recommend for a router table? Y'all have definitely helped me out. Since I will be doing all the work Myself. Logan My wife wants to know what color of paint is on the wall behind the drill press.

Really enjoy your show guys, you might do some homework on the shaper, or tell us you don't know

Where's the fun in that? Thanks for the comments.

I wear track shoes and I don't even have a track saw. I have a Kreg Accucut, but is that the same as a track saw? Like shaper vs. router, will we ever know?

Sorry Logan, I'm still struggling with the bidet ... I used to say real men don't wear crocs but then I broke down and tried them ... I do like them in the shop better than the rubber soled slippers because they offer more arch support, etc. ... Since visiting the shop and seeing the bidet ... I've changed my tune to "real men don't have a bidet in the shop s4!tter ... " 🤣🤣

Yeah. Each to his own.
