Well fake is everywhere....and the price differs from place to place. Of course BKK is the most expensive. Having said that, after traveling from South to North, I find that the goods are much cheaper when one move away from the big cities towards North...and Chiang Rai being the cheapest in my survey.

4 years ago at market in Udon Thani in Isaan I got 3 T shirts for 100 Baht each. and under counter bottles of Laos malt whisky ay 300 baht each (Suberb quality malt whisky) also stallholders (2 very old ladies) offered me viagra tablets. Politely declined! I love Thailand!!

not sure where you were shooting this - some of it looked like Pattaya Night Market on 2nd Road, some like Mike Shopping Mall. i got 1,500 "Adidas" at the Pattaya night market for 1000 THB about 4 weeks ago. Sure could get it cheaper. And, of course the cheapest are at the wholesale alleys in Chinatown but this is easy. i find I get about 1 year out of these types of shoes. quality obviously isn't there but they'd decent. entertaining to hear you bargain with the folks :-) Always enjoy your videos - maybe see you 'round if you're still at the beach this weekend. peace.

Yes, there's room for improvement but It's not easy to shoot videos like this, overall. He's not walking around with a regular sized camera and shooting like a traditional video. This is more like under cover (investigative) work to prove a point. The goal of the video is to show that you can bargain for things. On another note, there's another popular KZbinr that does these types of videos all over Asia for a living which is well shot. But it's good to get different perspectives like KeyFrames because he can switch between English and Thai when interacting with people.
