Wash your dish towels in cold water for the 1st time then you can wash them normally. It helps a ton with absorption (something to do we the coating they put on it) ( same with bath towels etc)

Tip to save for feet in the kitchen, get one if those thick foam pads that you are supposed to stand in and put it under your decorative rug. I've done that for years in my kitchen and spending hours meal prepping each week that thing SAVES my feet and legs from hurting.
