I wish my grey had more tones in it like yours when I tried to go grey. I have settled with a lighter colour that gives me more tones and less root line. I think this hair style suits you. Thanks for sharing the way you curl in both directions. When mine grows out some I will give that a try. You are rocking this look!

Elisa... I would love to hear what you think about your makeup now that you are mostly grey. I have been unsure about what colors to use for eyeshadows especially, and if I should avoid warm tones in cheek and lip colors . Of course everyone has different skin tones, I am quite cool toned but now that I’m grey I fear I will look too washed out. Any advice?

I LOVE your silver color variations!! I hope mine looks similar! I'm only 6 months in so it's still hard to tell. Love the haircut. Have you ever tried straightening the ends and then curling (leaving the ends out). It creates a very edgy look that I think you would like!

Do you have extra long hair? My hair growth seems to be directly related how I am doing physically. My hormones have been in shambles for a very long time.

I started off with really short, I was growing out a pixie when I decided to go grey. My hair is past my shoulders now, had it trimmed a few times but still have about 5cm of blorange on the top layers to grow out. It is completely grey underneath. I hope you get your hormones sorted out, they can be a real b*tch when they want to be. Make sure you have good vitamin D levels as it is also a hormone and affects all your other hormones.

Yeah my D is low. I have tried to take supplements but they don't agree with me that well. I am going to try a low dose again and see if it makes a difference. I guess my system is super sensitive to everything.

I am really done with my blonde highlights and my hair is getting raggedy while waiting for it to grow out. It seems my hair growth has slowed down or maybe I just think it has slowed down. I am going to the hairstylist today and have no idea what I want to do with my hair. I don't want to go much shorter but the outer layer is damaged for sure. Your hair looks great but to be honest when it comes to styling I have no patience.

Ah I just realized I no longer worry about my roots. No looking in the mirror and seeing the gray showing only after 2 weeks and feeling like I am looking older because of it. No putting on waxy hair mascara. Yesterday I went into my local car dealership to get some information about my car. In the course of the conversation, which my conversations always wander, we were talking about growing older and nutrition and such. He told me we are about the same age. I told him no I am 20 years older than you. He said I am 35 and I said I am 57. I guess the gray hair isn't standing in my way.

So I went to the hairstylist today and decided to take the plunge too and cut off a couple inches to get rid of the frizzy highlighted ends. I asked her how far had my hair grown and she measured about 6 inches. She told me I should be done by August going by how my hair has been growing. I assumed I still had highlights toward the top of my head but she told me no. So guess what I am not totally gray. I have beige colored blonde coming in between the silver hair. It is closer to the color my hair was when I was very young. It is so odd because now I won't have any dramatic change. For some reason I am a bit disappointed. I told my daughter if I was going to work this hard I wanted a total change lol. If I had known my hair was like this I would have stopped 10 years ago at least.
