I think the weighted piston head is why even though the inner barrel for my sr25:is enough for a .36 the 0.4 lost no power and I was hoping it would since my gun was shooting 0.15j too hot.

I have a old I think gen 2 Maxx chamber, and Gate Eon and Gate works just fine, while with Maxx I had some problems. But maybe current gen works better

I don't think there is PROMETHEUS CYLINDER compatibility... I couldn't get the grip I wanted with the original vfc cylinder.

I have a Gate ON POWER HYBRID Piston Head and an EON PROTECTOR Cylinder Head, but I didn't install it on my PROMETHEUS CYLINDER TYPE C coil.. it looks big. I will have to replace the gasket. :(

why is the piston head supposed to be best for dsg? What would happen if i put it in a 30rps build would it still work fine?

Because it's light and won't stress the gearbox shell as much as aluminium one, and yes, you can use it in any other build you want, it will work great in any rps :)
