Short Review of Whirlpool Microwave over the Range: WMH31017HS

1.7 cu. ft. Over the Range Microwave in Stainless Steel with Electronic Touch Controls
I got this recently from home depot. This is a short review of the microwave. It costs roughly $200

The microwave does require some work before you install it above the stove if you have a hood vent or wall vent. This is the first time I've had to remove and rearrange the fan motor?

Did yours come with a cooktop lightbulb or did you have to buy that separately? We just got ours and the light wouldn't turn on so we opened up the panel underneath where the exterior cooktop light bulb should be and there was nothing there

@@RileyBermas mine came with a light bulb. If I press the light button at the bottom next to fan… the light turns on. Mine came preinstalled alreadt

@@angrymathdude we found it. It must've become dislodged when my dad and I were moving it into position because I found it inside the cavity the cooktop light bulb panel opens up into using my phone taking a video with flash. We were able to poke it out and plug it into the spot it needed to go and now it works!

I bought the same microwave but the problem now is stops after 3 seconds or every three seconds So any of you knows what’s the problem? It’s new, but that was on display at the store

How far do it sticks out from cabinet door

The microwave is about 1/2 to 3/4 of in inch from the wall to the microwave From the front of the microwave (not including the handle) to the back of the wall... it's 16 1/4 inches deep. This microwave is deeper then my original samsung over the range microwave.

Can you temporarily stop the turntable

I don't believe so. Some whirlpool microwaves have a button to pause or stop the turntable but not this model

When I hit the light button, it shows Off, Full, and Half. I don’t know how to get it to turn on light!!! Thank you!!!

The light button should control the light below your microwave. So if you press light.. you should see a light below your microwave. Pressing it again.. should turn on the light half. Finally pressing it a 3rd time will turn off the light. IF it's not working.. I do think something is broken... maybe the lightbulb is broken? How long have you owned the microwave?

@@angrymathdude I’ve owned the microwave for 1 1/2 years. The light doesn’t turn on. I’ll check the light bulb when I find someone to help. I can’t get the cover off. Thanks for replying so quickly!!!
