Short selling was something I never did it before.. Maine ITDC ke 500 share short kiye the jab ki share already upper circuit me tha at price of 404.50 .. Upper circuit hone ke karan me share ko buy nehin kar paya aur share auction me chala gaya.. T+1 ka closing price 384 , t+2 ka closing price 386 .. Finally angelone se message aya ki mera shares 422 ke bhao me auction hua h and I got a loss of ₹9000 .. Zerodha upper circuit me jo share already h unko short sell karne nehin deta.. Kyun ki me angelone use karta hu angel allowed me to sell itdc share which hit upper circuit already that day.. Hence I was new to short selling ye mistake mere se hua.. Guys short sell karne se pehle plz ye dhyan de. . .
