I thought this was a sweet short story on how loneliness isnt just about intimacy, but also just being seen as your true self by someone else. Also love that its two racialized women as theres a lot of shame for queer brown women about who they are. Thanks for this!

i get all the good vibes. an original title. an interesting story. it reminds me of a manga i have read recently /my lesbian experience with loneliness/ by kabi nagata. well, i have seen it. and i am blown away. this is the feminine the whale. and it is simply beautiful. sure, the actors are beautiful too. and the casting is superb. anna's careful done manicure. zina's already deformed feet. each carrying the weight of the sins of their whole community. i loved how revealing is the twist with the scar. i love how i still don't know which version is true. is there a third story for the scar? i was so upset for each judgemental line anna said. yet, that is the character, she has to start somewhere the way to becoming an individual. i loved how the two women are the same character. one run away to freedom, only to be stuck along the way. the other failed to run away. if only farah could do the zina's character view. this could also mean a second escape to freedom for her. oh, i love it so much! i love it is sex positive. i love it is positive towards the sex workers. this is such a change from the mainstream propaganda about human trafficking, or the moral high horse of the patriarchal prostitution is bad so maybe we can make it worse. thank you farah for giving this project to the world, to anna and zina for their touching performances, and to short of the week for making this available to the greater public. i hope the google nazi won't block this one too.
