There’s a small percentage of people that are immune to capsaicin (the active ingredient in pepper sprays) and feel no pain. They can eat the worlds hottest peppers and feel nothing.

I've used allot of ghost pepper sauce before and after a few minutes, it nolonger tastes spicy at all. Del Taco inferno sauce tastes like ketchup until the desensitization wears off. I don't know if really spicy stuff can desensitize your eyes though. You might be able to pepper spray your mouth and not vomit or feel a burn though.

I had the same thing, apparently when I went to get a physical I asked my doctor and he said that I could be immune to capsaicin which is what is in the pepper spray, I told him that I got sprayed at BT and I described It as just hot soup on your face, it stings my skin but not my eyes, I was fine, it was weird cause everyone was dying except me they thought I was Superman or something.

Okay, so here is the thing : NONE of the OC got in his eyes, partly because it was a stream, and it probably was weak sauce (in the 0.33% MC range). Spray him with a 1.33% MC cone spray and he'll be on the floor crying for mama.

I tested one on my eyes yesterday and it’s the most pain I ever had. I couldn’t breath normal for 30 mins minimum. Can I contact on of you guys to send a picture of the pepperspray?
