I use the PPS study built into ToS, you know the one...that nobody has the code for because it's protected lol. I found an alert ring indicator to pair with it. Really love the PPS, I tried to build something that emulates it, but still came up short, got close with simple moving averages though...not really sure how the lines figure the alerts tbh... nobody does apparently besides the person who has the code that created it. And if anybody is wondering why a lot of us just can't seem to leave ToS regardless of what other brokers and charting platforms feature.. this is why, because ToS has some super powerful tools and they don't charge you to use them, I'll always use ToS charts at the very least. Great video yet again.

You add another filter to the “Any of the following” section and basically do the exact the exact opposite of what we did in this one. So price greater than 200 SMA, macd less than zero, macd value cross above signal (avg) line. With both on the any of the following line it would show both buy/sell for this specific indicator.

You can do this for any chart that you pop up in ToS, he'll probably do a video on that as well, yeah ToS is really powerful and they don't charge us to use all of these tools, it's pretty awesome tbh.

Is the reverse of this, detecting uptrend signals, more or less risky? Or were you just covering one side of it just for the sake of time? Do you prefer puts to calls? Also, did you select S&P500 companies for a specific reason? Do they seem to be indicated more reliably than other indexes? I'm sure some indexes are a little less predictable than others, depending on what's being traded. Is this just your personal preference in companies, or is there some strategic advantage to narrowing it down to the S&P500?

@shortthestrike I have an indicator that will alert me when its conditions are met, but it will only do it when I am looking at the chart of the specific ticker. Is there anyway to have an indicator alert me to any ticker on my watchlist, instead of just alerting me when I have the specific chart up on my screen?
