It's such a perfect moment too coming in right after the emotional reality of what just happened to the Leaf sets in. The disbelief, the despair in Sakura's plea, wondering how many of your favorite characters are dead or about to die, then finally that little but of hope when you hear the summoning happen.

You have to remember why he nuked Konoha. Danzo is the one responsible for most atrocities in the Hidden Rain. Danzo is the one responsible for Yahiko's death, and also Leaf Ninjas killed his parents in front of him. It just sucks Danzo's name politically is reflected as Konoha decisions. F Danzo, he is the true super villain of the show.lmao

I really wish they kept the Japanese names for the abilities. Shinra Tensei sounds so much better than Almighy Push.

It really doesn’t , he sounds like an old man in the sub when he says it. Almighty sounds better than shinra. Maybe if he said “Almighty Tensei” or almighty shinra would be better.

It always baffles me why some moves get translated and others don't. At least they realized copy wheel eye and white eye sounded too basic to translate.

@@OKThennn i gre up listening to a lot of those tv evangelists constantly saying "almighty". It just sounds like Pain is preaching rather than threatening to me. Granted the first manga version I read also kept the Japanese names for jutsu and the first anime was a sub, so I am used to that. Once Jiraiya dies I usually only watch the rest of NS in subs.

@@thtadthtshldntbe I get it but judging from what you say it matches pain who says “he’s a god” so there should be no complaining. Also personally o feel like everyone in dub sounds how they would sound if they were real people. Pains dub , itachis dub , Tsuandes dub , Kakashi’s dub literally all sound like them. Also I know they all should be Japanese but they all don’t look Japanese. Maybe rock Lee does. All I’m saying is dub captures the image and feels more

@@OKThennn one of my problems, aside from teen naruto sounding more female than male is that many of the English dub actors give their characters raspy voices. It sounds like they are all smokers lol. Anyway like I said its just a preference thing with the original post I made.
