This year will be my 3rd trip to Vegas. It is an absolute blast and intimidating at the same time. It's an experience that you will never forget.

@@kobrakobra7704that’s awesome! I’ll eventually take the trip to Vegas (sadly not this year). I am however going to the Lancaster Classic this year.

@@JustShootYourBow I have wanted to go to Lancaster for a while now. I live in SE New Mexico so it's a long haul to Pennsylvania.

Love the “walking through the house on fire” analogy. I’ll have to incorporate that into my practice.

LET’S GO! Rushmore Rumble 2024 in the books, then Lancaster Classic, then Vegas! Bodie will win it all… AGAIN.

Thats exactly what I do, get on target and when it settles on the center, not a drive by, settles that one hard time I let it eat, I think so many people spent too much time trying to get their pin to stop on the center and live there they force the miss
@JustShootYourBow10 ай бұрын
100% … you have to embrace that movement - the pin is never still.

I want to see Joel shoot in these tournaments and see how good he does he’s preaching it he should be able to do it. I will believe all his talk when I see him shoot as good as thease pros. Lots of good archery coaches out there like Dudley .

Does having his kid, Bodie Turner, winning the Rushmore Rumble, Lancaster Classic, the Western Classic (Redding), and the Vegas Shootdown while still being a teenager count? Remember, the best coaches in pretty much all sports weren’t necessarily the best athletes in the sport they coached.

Why not reduce it to its essentials? Why the metaphysical nonsense?

Joel does a great job of demystifying target panic and how to deal with it. It’s scientific.

While I appreciate any and all coaching advice I do not believe there is a one end all be all way to shoot except one! Are you ready for this? I will give you the secret formula......REPEATABILITY!! Whatever works for you over and over. If you can punch 11, 10 or whatever the case may be do that, replicate that. Video the perfect ends or rounds. Video the bad as well so you know what t is different. Look at different shooters no one is the same but many find great success in the competitive arena. Shaff kind of leans back, Douglas is a "command " shooter, etc.,etc. Not being a smarta$$ just an observation. Consistent REPEATABILITY.
@Emesis_010 ай бұрын
Repeatability isn’t a secret. Sticking with a consistent shot process isn’t a secret. Are you angry? Why are you yelling? 😂
@JustShootYourBow10 ай бұрын
I’m certain that all archery coaches (and archers) would all agree that consistency and repeatability is the key to becoming a great archer. If they say otherwise then they don’t know what they are talking about. I wouldn’t consider consistency and repeatability a secret but maybe you are simply speaking in hyperbole by calling it a “secret” 🤷🏽♂️ Nonetheless, thank you for the input 👍🏾

I didn’t understand any of his lingo. 😂 “blow the doors off the house”. I “said this at this moment”. Talking? Closed loop? This was 100% Chinese to this dumb novice. Porch? Shot control house? 😂😂😂 Hunted and hunt big game every year for the last 40 years…. Never heard any of this lingo. I just can’t. Seat on the couch? So weird.
@JustShootYourBow10 ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment, we sincerely appreciate it. If Turner’s shot control lingo just doesn’t vibe with you, that’s 100% ok. This type of shot process just isn’t for you. If you have a shot process that works for you 100% of the time, please stick with it.
