I do not think muta and nux laughing at degenrate material online (in this example being loli from an anime) is the same as actually consuming it. degenrate stuff exist. it is okay to laugh at how ridiculous it is. This includes reviewing his “exoneration“ aka a google doc made by a twitter sperg who used the child fucker himself as the source to clear him… To then state that this (Muta’s nux video) is the chance he deserved to clear his name. It’s not just formulations, there’s dishonesty, backtracking, obscuring and with the video specifically, a serious lack of research which then gives another freak (Nux) an easy way out and is now dancing on Muta’s grave by taking the W starting with Muta apologizing and wanting to maintain their relationship which is ridiculous given his description of nux in his video.

@WillyMacShow How Muta is handling this is what's ruining his credibility. Not that it happened per se. And if he wanted to stay friends with Nux, he probably would've caught heat for it but oh well. I think Muta sort of represents a larger problem with the big commentary channels right now and it’s frustrating because he is actually smart/has talent when he decides to care about a topic. How many big KZbinrs co-signed Max’s smear campaigns for years and even watched Max smear you as a creep in the update video to those campaigns but said nothing. The bigger channels don’t care until there’s enough pressure by association then they immediately jump ship using talking points made in spaces like this show long before anyone.

There were several events this year that really affected muta on trust. Say what you want.. but muta isn’t a bad guy.. does the video look like tossing someone sure.. BUT THAT IS WHQAT Chud, nic, the entire drama tuber world wanted - cut ties with nux.. They bombarded muta with that non stop.. when they weren’t talking to muta they would tell their chat, muta won’t’ cut ties.. and kept spreading crap.. Giving teh WRONG definition of loli.. but drilling theirs into muta.. which muta started also getting paranoid about.. He had several connection he trusted - that is the problem.. he trusts too easily that really affected him… he said he didn’t know who to trust online anymore.. and yet, he still trusted people blindly.. taht was his mistake. Like Tommy said, muta might have talked to the wrong person on how to handle this.. you doint’ see ompa making a video about nux.. he shouldn’t have made one period.. and on the surface it loos I kek he ditched a friend over anime… when it was one group of friends pressuring him to get rid of nux, It wasn’t immediately.. it was several momths.. month and months of build up

Tiaga said no, crazed fan spammed him with thousands of reports from bot accounts. Nux ran with the story without even looking into what was actually going on, and instead of owning up to being wrong, he doubled down until he couldn't anymore and gave a "if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong" before moving on like he didnt do anything. Tiaga is currently dragging the crazed fan through court. I love how when its a gay guy, making content for other gay men, then its "sus." But when dozens and dozens and dozens of women V-Tubers do it, make way worse content, and make sexualizing themselves their entire brand image, no one batt's an eye! The female V-tubers are defended and allowed reasonable doubt like anyone else would get. It's been proved 100 times over Tiaga didnt do anything, Nux is a pos and I hope Tiaga drag's him into court after hes done with the stalker, who yes even started stalking Tiaga irl. I think when he told Chad about the podcast cancelling it didn’t come out how he thought it did because he was walking the contract/legal line. That started to blow up. Then he was still friends with Nuc and the video came out on his Reddit. He had a spontaneous overreaction and that blew up. Then Nuc said he called him and apologized on his live stream before he could address anything again. I think he is taking a step back so the snowball does not get bigger because of another spontaneous reaction. People make mistakes and when you say something and then realize you can’t explain why you said it because of contracts or legal stufff things can get complicated. I think this has gotten out of control in a way he is not used to and so he doesn’t know how to handle it in a timely manner. Just my 0.02

When the vtuber Taiga was banned because a stalker was trying to ruin his life, Nux jumped on the bandwagon and called Taiga a "PDFphile" WITHOUT PROOF. And when he was called on it, he doubled, then tripled down before pressure got too much and then he said he talked to Taiga and apologized. Taiga said this never happened and Nux was talking out of his ass. When confronted, he just said, "Trust me bro. I did." and never elaborated further.
