Yeah but cops wouldn't put innocent people in handcuffs. Innocent until proven guilty. Some people, myself inclided, get absolutely terrified at the concept of being bound. Anyone that tries to tie me up is probably going to have problems. Not that I would want to cause problems but I just know my body and mind wouldnt allow anyone to restrain my arms. I think I would freak out. That's another reason why I always try to be the best law abiding citizen I can be. I'd probably die of a heart attack if I couldn't move my arms. My only other critique: "Hands in the air! Get down!" Make up your minds, dudes! Do you want his hands in the air? Or do you want him to get down? I guess if he lays on his back he can do both but it makes more sense to have him lay face down.

Actually cops would. You have to control the situation to keep everyone safe. The easiest way to control a fluid situation is to immobilise everyone, even those who aren't suspected of wrong doing. Cuffing someone does not mean they're under arrest. It is done for everyones safety, including their own.

@@mick761777 nobody that tries to restrain me is going to be safe. Especially if I didn't do anything wrong. It's not that I'm trying to be difficult as much as it is I know my fight or flight response would push me into bad decisions despite my mind understanding the reasoning. I would probably try my best to overcome the drive to not be tied but .. I'm going to fight it. I just know me. I would totally try and avoid freaking out but I'm sure I would.
