@@andg_rodg_4_real710 Surrendering to the process doesn't require a complete ego-death. Only parts of your ego will die. Most animals don't have an ego. Ego means a sense of self. I personally don't recommend to get rid of your ego completly. Just be aware that when irrational fears arise, like the fear of rejection, it's not you trying to survive but your ego.

Thank You Jason. Always Love these talks of yours even if I have a bit of something to say about it as this one. You say, "In the end, that is we must do" ... "Take the road less traveled". The word, "must" makes this a message I do not agree with. Whatever we choose ... we learn, even when the lesson is really rough ... we have the choice, and it will be our choice. (We do have to consider that for children they have little choice as to staying with people who may be extremely harmful (but that's a different topic). Our desire to feel safe ... as you say well here ... tends to, "hold us in place" and it does that even when it is not a safe place to be (abusive or neglectful relationships, bad jobs, etc ... ). To think of any action as something we "Must" do or not is to place force in the event which tends to cause problems regardless. We Can do what we want ... and we do, do, what we Want ... we may act and speak as if we do what we "must" at times but it is what we want .... even when we are thinking we are not wanting to do it ... and are feeling we are doing it by force. But again I mention children, they become use to acting when forced, can be they think force is required ... that this whole notion of "must" gets carried over into adulthood ... when one needs to begin to realize we do what we want. I feel the fear comes from the limited mind that is separated from source/spirit . I'm afraid to create such intimate videos because it's a lot to put out there with the possibility of getting crickets in return. Or even worse, hostility from people you don't know. I keep returning to the feeling of not being good enough for any of this. That what I've done in life is not impressive enough and how dare I even exist, it's pathetic.

I couldnt help it but notice your profile image. I could be wrong however I see what seems to be a lense positioned just before the left eye on the image. The lense appears somewhat clear and I would assume it allows loads of light to pass through and allows the observer to see clearly. In contrast to your comment, you are carrying a lense, metaphoricly speaking, that you use to see your perspective, to see your reality. I have head Jason speak of how we see the world through our lenses that we have created from our past experiences but we seldom see the lense. He contunues to urge us, mankind, to change this lense which we look through to allows us to see new realities filled with new posibilities. I would urge you to relook at your lense at which you percieve the world around you. I dont know it all but change your lense of perception, you are wonderful and your capacity to create is beyond measure. And one last thing, criticism wont kill you, other than that it will highten your awareness towards your craft, whatever it may be. case and point Jason didnt wake up and did this video as his first. This videos is a result of repeat attempts over years of trial and error. That is why I have huge respect for Jason. I have learnt from what he say but also from what he has done over time. Time, persistance and respect for your craft. Just try it for a year, you have 365 days and be willing to fail 364 days and see what you will produce on the 365th day and then upload that for us to watch, I bet you I would be awed by it!! Much love to you. I adore your courage to say "I cannot because of .........", thats usually the begining of greatness. 💙

I sure see plenty of possibilities...but also am aware of my own need for healing. I think logically and have seen shots of awe grow and develop and that it wasn't where he started. I am a nobody, he is and was somebody. We all want to have a life full of doing what we love for a living...

The past few years I realized more than ever that I WILL NEVER have that kind of life I've always desired. The life of fun and travel and good family and friends and a great career. I'm not saying this as fact but it is a thought pattern I've yet to escape for several years now. Life always kind of felt like bullshit after going through so many traumatic experiences... I guess I tried to ignore those feelings. Now my life is pretty good, but I still feel such grief over lost possibility and potential. I'm not as young as I once was... I'm in my 30s. I really want to figure out how to get out there and get more involved with the psychedelic community. I do spend a lot of time talking with people about their psychedelic experiences and feel like the field is my calling. Sometimes I think I have changed my perspective one too many times...and I need to go back a bit.
